Criticism of Israel =/= insulting Jews. Take it from Glenn Greenwald, who accurately described what a farce that "movie" was:

Israel is not a stand in for Jews across the world. Criticism of Israel's treatment of Palestinians is not antisemitic. Criticizing the actions of the IDF, Mossad, or Israeli politicians is not antisemitism. The professors were not fired because their actions weren't antisemitic, as I already said. But hey, Bari tried to cancel them all anyways because she's a giant hypocrite that only uses cancel culture to her own benefit while simultaneously deriding its existence.

SMH.... I read the same excuses in a Hamas propaganda piece. For the record Hamas is on the State Department's Terrorist list. They also still fly the Nazi swastika flag at demonstrations.

Glenn Greenwald can't erase those quotes. The movie is just a series of interviews with Columbia students and faculty about their treatment at the hands of MEALAC profs.

Imagine someone making similar statements about African Americans, then defending their statements by saying, "I'm not racist. I'm not talking about blacks worldwide, just in America." No one would by it, and only an antisemitic would make the defense you're trying to make for their clearly antisemitic statements. Like I said, you're a hypocrite.

I get it, they support a basic talking point or group not realizing that talking point and or group is deeply flawed. BDS, BLM, ANTIFA, etc. At the end of the day, these people are mostly of the same ilk and their roots are in the DSA and straight up Communists.
