His voting record speaks volumes about the lobbyists he hangs with. The letter next to his name? Meh.Or at least threatening to go Indy.
bbbbbbbbaaaaaahhhhhhHis voting record speaks volumes about the lobbyists he hangs with. The letter next to his name? Meh.
Think maybe, just maybe he is trying to represent his constituents & not the DNC? People of WV are very moderate & by & large against modern day Democrats....His voting record speaks volumes about the lobbyists he hangs with. The letter next to his name? Meh.
He needs to get over himself and provide some assistance to the party that put him there.
Put him on ignore in the spirit of HalloweenAll the assitance in the world couldn't get leftists to do the right thing.
I hope you are wrong, but I believe you are right. He is an attention ***** and a backstabbing snake. I just shake my head at all these people thinking Manchin is going rogue against the leftists and somehow saving us. At the end, he will get some payoff for himself, a pittance for the state which the media will swoon over, and vote for this absurd piece of social justice pork.
Yep. He didn’t even try to help save the Mylan plant. He is an attention ***** and a backstabbing snake. Yep. Appointed the 13th co-chair of the Appalachian Regional Commission by Joe Biden.I hope you are wrong, but I believe you are right.
Didn't his wife already get a pretty nice job out of this ?
Been in to long . Vote someone new . He will only be for the people of WV if it will benefit him or his family.I will still vote for him unfortunately just to see extreme libs in Washington have emotional breakdown’s because of him. Voting someone new in there would put the State at the back of the buss
Heather is gone from Mylan now so there is no reason for him to stick up for that company and their workers which are based in WV. His wife is no longer involved in the education politics in WV so Manchin will always vote whichever side gives him and his family more financial and power gain. It will never be in WV’s best interest, otherwise he would have been pushing back on Obama years ago.Been in to long . Vote someone new . He will only be for the people of WV if it will benefit him or his family.
That's the kind of thinking that keeps people in office for decades & that is where the corruption begins & is allowed to fester...
Unfortunately the two party system is dead. I’m a pub but still vote for Joe. No one else have ever seemed strong to me and at the end of the day, and in Washington you have to play the game and that ruffles peoples feathers. I def understand your point but until there is term limits what you say will always happen no matter who is in office. In the end he has to look out for himself like we all do l, but I do believe deep down he tries to protect this State when he can.Been in to long . Vote someone new . Unfortunately you are correct. If he holds this line he may get my vote . This is within my 80% of agreeing with a person.Unfortunately the two party system is dead. I’m a pub but still vote for Joe. Manchin did have a coal business before he entered politics.....So What?Had a cousin stay with us last week. They are from upstate NY. His daughter lives in WV and her husband is a union boss. He has always been liberal but he has owned small businesses most of his life and at least he hates high taxes.
He made the statement that he thought Manchin was a good guy but the more he talks to his daughter, is starting to believe he is no good based on the stories he is hearing. I asked him what stories...he replied that he made money from coal...I laughed and left it alone.
agreed. I was pointing out that the Liberals in WV (union leaders) are canceling him.Manchin did have a coal business before he entered politics.....So What?
He is definitely a media *****, but he's almost single handedly narrowing the scope of this bill from $3.5T to $1.5T. I don't agree w/ his decision to nix the retrofitting for the coal burning plants, but all in all he's doing a good job. I'd prefer they keep all the environmental stuff in the bill, because I'm heavy on EVs and alt energy in my portfolio. I'm sure there will still be plenty in there for that any way.He needs to get over himself and provide some assistance to the party that put him there.
Look the libtard blow hard makes a thread appearance. He is definitely a media *****, but he's almost single handedly narrowing the scope of this bill from $3.5T to $1.5T. And thanks to Sinema for basically cancelling the tax increases on top indiv rate and the corporate tax rate. If they keep the SALT deduction in the bill, it pretty much couldn't get much better.
He just told us he was a not a liberal...typical...and I love his reasoning...because it makes ME more money...not that it hurts the economy or the ability of the US to thrive.Look the libtard blow hard makes a thread appearance.
It would most likely hurt his daughters golden parachute.Yep. He didn’t even try to help save the Mylan plant.
And THAT would be his strategy. He changes the ‘appearance’ but the substance remains exactly the same especially if it works and he gains re-election.Think maybe, just maybe he is trying to represent his constituents & not the DNC? People of WV are very moderate & by & large against modern day Democrats....
If he would go independent it might help him get my vote back .
He’s as liberal as they comeHe just told us he was a not a liberal...typical...and I love his reasoning...because it makes ME more money...not that it hurts the economy or the ability of the US to thrive.
Nice try....I saw what you tried to do. Joe supports the retrofitting of coal plants...I think you are confused.I don't agree w/ his decision to nix the retrofitting for the coal burning plants,
Typical libtard scum. They don’t want to give out their own money or take a personal financial hit, but they support more social programs that bleed other Americans dry and support handouts for everyone else.He just told us he was a not a liberal...typical...and I love his reasoning...because it makes ME more money...not that it hurts the economy or the ability of the US to thrive.
