Herd Immunity is impossible-says the UK

This article says that herd immunity from vaccines is impossible to achieve with the Delta virus. The only way to eradicate it is to get it, survive and move on....That happened in India and now happening in the UK. We are at least equal to the UK...

Couple that with Dr. Clay Marsh's statement that the Delta variant will create a V shaped infection spread, I think it's time to pay the piper and get through this. Most of the at risk are vaccinated, let the younger population get the cold and move on with our lives.

One thing is certain, you cannot outrun this.

Herd immunity is possible for stopping the pandemic/endemic, but vaccines won't do it. Especially one's that are only 42% effective. These "vaccines" are closer to therapeutics at this point than vaccines. Even once most have natural antibodies, it will be a yearly part of our cold/flu season.

Locking down/masks/etc only draw out the duration we have to deal with this. I go back to my original idea on how to handle this damn virus:
  1. Protect the vulnerable, who we now know are the elderly, the sick, and the morbidly obese.
  2. Keep the gas on the throttle until hospitals are full, find the sweet spot for the local area to keep the hospitals full, and economy moving
  3. Mourn the lost, get on with life
We don't have the technology to out-manmade science a cold/flu virus.

Has to be this way or we destroy the worlds economy that's already on the brink of destruction. The middle class will be wiped out and it will make the great depression look mild in comparison. It's starting to look like this will take organized peaceful protest that we see going on in other countries. If not the CCP and allies will be the only winners if we continue down the current path we are on.

I have also been saying this since day one. My ID friends has said the same in private. Now is the time! The adage "insanity is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome" is as accurate as can be.

I have been reading a lot of articles about ICU's being flooded but there seems to be some inconsistencies in the reporting. FL has already called out the CDC for over-estimating their numbers.

My neighbor stopped by two weeks ago. He is a RT at Mon General. He said they are getting crushed with Covid. He then goes on and says only two in the ICU are covid related and both are diabetic and have high blood pressure.

I think we are entering the 2nd phase of people with co-morbidities needing help to get though this but since we have canceled the old's, this phase may look worse but the outcome will be much better.

I see elderly people out every day living their life. Probably time for younger people to pay attention to their example. We can't afford anymore lockdowns. Communities and family members can go to the store for those that truly need assistance. Mandatory policies aren't going to get it done. It's just going to piss people off and cause more division.

As for your ID friends, do they not practice what they actually believe or are they just going along with the ruse (if they are physicians). If they are in biomed, do they not want to introduce/investigate their private opinion? Should ask your RT friend on why they are not running flu screens on these patients instead of only Covid. I’m sure we both know the answer to that based on the leaked CDC documents.

This has been my opinion from the very start. We need to let it get a little bit ugly. It doesn't go away by locking down. It needs to run its course.

Get as many vaccinating as possible but allow everything to continue normally and manage those who are sick best you can.

I think it's funny watching these "experts" go over the charts and showing you how the curve goes upward when people get together, and goes downward when they don't. DUH! I bet you I can explain to you why there are so few auto accidents during a blizzard......BECAUSE NOBODY IS DRIVING! It's life. We will always have more deaths/illnesses when people are out and living their lives. We've been this way forever. We can't stay in our caves forever.

All work at UofL. They get lots of federal $ for research...my Mirco guy is still military assigned. He takes orders and will follows them. He stands true...it's what he won't say that gives you his true feelings on the matter.

Not to mention the hypocrisy that Obama can have a birthday bash with hundreds and Chicago can have Lollapalooza, but that damn church service on Sunday is why this curve goes up!!!

KY Attorney General is taking him to court over this mask mandate. However, the KY BOE has already decided that if the court rules against the governor they will put in a 270 day mask mandate........

It's pure disgusting and straight child abuse at this stage. This topic should be one that unites conservatives and liberals. The government keeps invading our god-given rights. Let the parents make these decisions, not a government organization.

And Fauci the fraud should be held liable, along with any school board, if a child wears a cloth mask and ends up with any respiratory illness or distress.

The same guy who signed this. The CCP did allow a Bioweapons grade virus out of their PLA lab. So coming up with something for the vulnerable was a good idea. What we both should be able to agree on was making it mandatory was ********. Which group pushed that? Ruining people's lives for not wanting to comply.

The same group that said they'd never take the Trump jab.

If you are 70 or older and have health issues I could understand you taking it. You're not worried about long term side effects of an experimental drug. If you are young and healthy and voluntarily got it. Well hope it works out for ya.

Making it mandatory was next level tyranny. Anyone who supported making it mandatory is an idiot.

That would be the 1990 version of Trump...
I agree with the warp speed idea and at the time was needed . I don't agree with mandates... at all .
Trump is wrong for pushing the vaccine now .
The emotional comment is about those still pushing this ******** and won't let it go ... emotions over facts.
