That would be one of the alternates, and the alternates traveled to the games as well.

True, but she still took a spot on the team that someone else would loved to have had.

So one next alternate? I don't think this was a calculated move by Biles, and she has historically flourished under pressure. This time it got to her, and she spoke up. She has no more control over this kind of injury than she does a broken wrist.

Repub cancel culture warriors never sleep.
Who is trying to cancel her? Do you know how this works? She took actions. Criticism is a price for action. Kinda like when you go to work and waste tax dollars all day on a message board and then get in trouble....oh wait.

And that alternate took someones spot.
Someone who didn't perform as well. It's not ideal. If I had my druthers, Biles would be competing. I'd bet she is way more upset about this than anyone else though. She's still supporting the team, acting as an extra coach, cheering them on. If I thought this was something under her control, I'd be angry with her.

Do you think in today’s era that we as a society prop up victim hood to the point that, that is more sexier and gets more notoriety than accomplishing goals? Case in point with prince Harry, the dude is trying to label himself like a inner city poor minority that is a victim. People love that **** and puts it on a pedestal

I think lots of folks try to paint themselves as victims, and I'm not a fan. That's not how I read the Biles issue though, at least not from her. I took it as an injury thing. Maybe I've missed some things that have come out about it, specifically from her. Some folks defending her are trying to paint it in that light - look at all she's been through. I'm not trying to minimize any hardships she's had, but that does not necessarily have any bearing on her deciding to remove herself from the competition.

Someone who would have performed in the Olympics didnt get to go bottom line. I get that she is supporting them and saying all the right things but she quit on her team and left them hanging. Its a bad look for her but I dont see where people are doing anything more than being critical of her.

Huh? Repubs/conservatives were immediately on her like white on rice.
Its comical that you think this is race based or political. You are truly an easily manipulated retard. Turn off msnbc moron.
