Distrust in the MSM is at an all time low. Why? Because the public has functioning eyes, functioning ears and functioning brains.
This latest one is about Michael Avanetti, the guy that the media built into a massive hero despite that fact that he gave every indication of being nothing more than a sleazy opportunistic lawyer, which unsurprisingly turned out to be true as he has just been sentenced to 2.5 years in jail and has other charges awaiting him.
But Avenatti had one thing going for him as far as the media was concerned. He was willing to incessantly slam Trump. So no matter how awful someone is, if they slam Trump then they become the good guy. Isn't disbelieving anything Trump says basically the same thing as believing anything Trump says?
The thing is though, the people that believe anything Trump says are typically otherwise powerless schmucks living off money from doing odd jobs to get by in some small town in the middle of nowhere whereas the media that disbelieves anything Trump says are in control of powerful institutions. Then again, maybe they don't actually disbelieve anything Trump says per se but rather playing that game because it makes them richer and richer and richer.
Regardless, when the institutions are awful-er and awful-er and awful-er, the people trust them less and less and less. As they should.
If you want just the summary then watch from 5:25 to 6:01.
