WVU baseball team will never return to Huntington after today's *** stomping. They quit coming back for hoops after 7 straight defeats.

Good luck with that one, Stoney. I've used a similar excuse for WVU/Ohio State games in basketball during the tHuggs era, but WVU fans have dismissed it out of hand. It's tHuggs' National Championship Game whenever WVU plays his true home state's largest land grant institution, but I seem to be the only Ohio State fan, coach or player that cares about beating WVU, so I get your drift.

The losses to Rice in football and Basketball hurt, no getting around it but a loss to WVU in baseball would have been met with the same indifference as the resounding shutout victory is met with in my book! Wouldn't have even known the score if King Coal had no pointed it out!

Their football program has a chance to be sneaky good. They brought in one of the main guys from Stanford. Since then Stanford hasn't done too well. Rice has been slowly building.
Weekday games in baseball are all about pitching depth. Not going to face the top pitchers like you would in a weekend series.
