The Treaty of Versailles was signed on 1/10/1920 and it appears that history will repeat itself. The allies overplayed their hands and forced Germany to accept peace conditions that basically forced Germany to make concessions and repay debt that was impossible for their shattered economy to handle. In that vacuum, the socialist party thrived because those who could not find work or take care of their families saw socialism as better than the status quo. We all know what happened next.

Yeah, Hitler killed himself. Thanks!

EDIT: And you have a warped vision of the past and trying to compare it to today. The mob on January 6th was more resembling Mussolini and his blackshirts march on Rome than anything you posted here.

You mentioned a warped version of the past.

Careful now, you'll be accused of inciting and/or condoning bad behavior.

What I posted is 100% accurate...you can disagree with the comparison, but the past is past and most view the way I described it.

What we saw on 1/6 is yet another symptom that 50% of America is scared that Biden and your tribe will take us a step closer to Socialism....and you know, I agree with them. I don't think we will ever become a socialist country in the next 4 years (or 20 years), but if Biden's handlers get their way, they will move in that direction...his first 100 days pretty much proves it...wait and see.

That's fine...I feel like I'm prison anyways. People think Hitler just appeared and took over...it took almost 15 years of bad decisions to create the perfect storm for Hitler's message to gain traction and I think we are at the beginning of a similar cycle.

I’m confused, for 4 years he was Hitler and his supporters were brown shirts. Now, he’s Mussolini and his supporters are black shirts?

Hyperbolic much?

Meanwhile, the left is going all ChiCom on public information and discourse. Meanwhile ISIS, Iran, and Hezbollah use Twitter at will.

Irony of ironies. Leftists intent on full government control calling folks who are marching for limited government & personal Freedom "brownshirts" and "blackshirts" ? [eyeroll]

January 6th = October 24th, 1922

Fascist Trump tried, failed.

Trump managed to dismantle decades of overreaching government regulations by eliminating thousands of pages of needless controls choking American private enterprise, he unleashed record amounts of entrepreneurial Capital repatriated by American companies from overseas, he ended our participation in one sided multi-lateral international trade agreements that hurt US competitiveness globally, he promoted the largest individual and corporate income tax cuts in American history, he forged first time historic peace agreements between long time Arab adversaries & Israel, he dismantled the terrorist threat from Isis, oversaw a return of American energy independence and our preeminence as the world's #1 producer of energy, restored American security and sovereignty by ending massive incursions across our open southern border by illegal aliens and he presided over the single largest creation of American wealth through private stock investments in our history, accompanied by record low unemployment across ALL demographics...Women, minorities, youth, professionals....everyone!

Yet he's a Fascist. [eyeroll]

If there’s ANYTHING that needs fixed, it’s a complete overhaul of the American educational system. I guarantee most of these libtards like bedpoops24/7 doesn’t understand any of what you posted.

...his own words, not mine
the one thing I can promise you, I am a better man, a more successful man, a more respected and intelligent man than you can ever hope to be

Modesty is obviously not a handicap for that guy
