I was re-reading the 1st Amendment today and I noticed something I had never seen before. Deep in the fine print it said “Jack Dorsey shall make no laws impinging on the right of free speech....”. Who knew?

I didn't defend them and said it should never happen. Just like a compliant media should have demanded proof of what these liberal politicians were saying. This should never have gotten this far. You can make that same statement about BLM when they list the guys who resisted arrest or assaulted a police officer as a worthy person murdered wrongfully but ignore the young man in Georgia would was racistly attacked and murdered.
If used punitively, and for short term manipulation, sure. If it nullifies then margins and balances the field for competition to spring up outside of China, then they’re effective. It has to be acknowledged it’s a long game. And yes, in the interim, consumers bear the brunt of the cost increase. In the long game, China potentially loses market share or the business altogether.
