That is too much socialism. Only $600 is small enough that the GOP can continue with their ridiculous name calling of Dems of being socialist as that amount won't help the desperate citizens suffering from the republican president and Senate for their inactions over this year and the "base" won't realize giving away 10 grand or $1 to the general public is the same thing in terms of labeling.
I'd be happy with none, but I haven't been impacted by this at all.

WE don't need to be sending millions to other counties for gender issues. There is way too much stuff in there for people not citizens of the US.

Actually, if you want my real feelings, we should open up the country and tell people that hospitals will triage people. Non productive people will not have life sustaining procedures when somebody younger and more productive needs your spot in the ICU.

Yea but i just wish we could use a common sense approach and actually help small business and individuals that are actually hurting because of the global pandemic here in the United States first...Instead of a pork ridden stimulus bill that really won’t move the dial in actually helping. Hell my wife and I do not need a check and we’re going to leave it with a waitress or find a family that has been unemployed and struggling this time around. Just wish we had a third party called the common sense approach party cause our 2 party system is dead for the common person.

Agree with a lot of what you say, but I think we are confusing/conflating the stimulus bill and the omnibus bill. They are separate. The stimulus bill does have some helpful things for small businesses, such as PPP money, enhanced UE benefits, and rent help for the landlords. Is it perfect? No. Is it worth discussing the price tag for these? Absolutely. But don't distort what is going on. It can be true that the stimulus bill will help small businesses AND not be enough help. It can also be true that it may not be worth the cost. The "pork" ridden waste of spending is in the omnibus bill.
The President is the one that stirred up raising all these socialist payments. It's good you're going to give it to someone in need. That's what they are for.
