I guess the stressors of covid and this election get the best of everyone at some point and it finally bit me.
After the Richmond game, I have been all in on this basketball season and was really pumped to see us lay a beat down on Iowa State last night after the throbbing they gave us in football. To pregame properly, I met a few friends who are in town for the holidays at Applebees for dinner and drinks and we were having a great time. Everything was going great, my buddies and I were catching up, the beer was flowing, and the boneless wings were spot on. We decide to move to the bar to grab a few shots while a few from our group stayed back to finish up their meals. This is where it all started to go sideways.
As we are walking to the bar, I notice a guy off to my right who has gotten out of his booth and is standing at the hostess station as we approach. This àsshole is pointing to the 'Masks Must Be Worn When Not Seated' sign. We are just trying to have a good time and besides, this is just some tiny liberal cuck who is in way over his head, so we just keep walking and pay him no mind. And yes, we were not wearing our masks as we left them at our table. They can be a real pain in the àss to not lose, so whatever. Anywho, we walk on by and this doosh decides to tap on my shoulder as we pass to say 'Sir, you need to wear your mask. It's mandatory.' to which I respond telling him to get fvcked. I am usually not a confrontational person, but I admittedly had too much to drink and when this guy (if you want to call him that) arrogantly tapped on my shoulder, I lost my cool. My buddies were not happy with me and they decided it was time to leave. So with everyone leaving and me realizing I have just made a huge scene, I decided it is time to go as well. I wanted to catch the WVU game and I obviously was in no position to continue drinking. So I grab my jacket and we begin to walk out and guess who comes back for more? Liberal cuck... I have already made my friends mad and had no desire to continue my verbal fight with this guy so I walk as quickly as I can to get out to my car. Terrible luck continues as I trip and fall off the curb -- at 38, skinned knees still fvcking hurt like a bîtch. I get in my car and we pull out of the parking lot and I imagine that is the end of it. Finally I can get home, turn the WVU game on, and enjoy my weekend. NOPE. I am 5 miles or so away from Applebees and see blue lights from behind. I wasn't speeding as I was just a bit past Applebees and had not even made it to the highway yet, still mostly residential and the roads were still slick. So I assume the doosh from Applebees called the cops on me after I left -- he couldn't just let it go and move on.
So I am sitting there with the car turned off and my window down assuming this cop is going to walk up and tell me what I did wrong and move along. It takes him almost 15 min to walk up and I was freezing and at this point, my kid is crying cuz it is so cold. I don't want to start the car back up or this cop is going to think I am going to run, so I shush my kid and try to keep warm. Finally he walks up and wants my license, registration, and proof of insurance. So I hand him my registration and proof of insurance and grab my wallet from my pocket. He is shining a flashlight in on me so I position my wallet in the light so he will see my badge (No, I am NOT a cop, I am an armed security guard) and was hoping for a bit of professional courtesy. He asks me what agency I am with and I HONESTLY tell him I am not a cop. He wants to know why I am pulling out my badge if I am not a cop, but I wasn't. I was just opening my wallet to get him my license. It just so happens my wallet is a badge wallet that holds a badge and it was visible. At this point, I am pissed of the accusation and that I am so damn cold and just want to get home to watch the game. I don't even care about professional courtesy at this point, I just want my ticket and to be back on the road. But nope, this àsshole wants me to submit to a breathalyzer and field sobriety test. I decline and he tells me I will lose my license for a year. I can't exactly afford to lose my license, so whatever, I submit and yeah, I'm drunk. So off to jail I go but he allows me to call my wife to come get our kid and bring someone to pick up my car which I appreciated but was probably the least he could do for all this bs hassle. While we are waiting on my wife, who is absolutely furious with me, he pulls this Dr. Phil bs and wants to talk to me about fatherhood and that I deserve to have my kid taken from me and about how terrible of a dad I am and I have to sit there and listen to this crap for nearly 20 min until my wife got there. I explain the kid is 3 and he won't even remember this (I admit, not my finest moment but cmon)
Thankfully I didn't have to stay in jail all weekend and it was just county jail. They wanted me to sober up, which doesn't make sense as I could have sobered up at home.
TLDR - Don't confront liberal cucks about masks they will just cry to the cops and get you arrested.
