Texas early vote numbers

As of right now: Texas early vote numbers total 7.8 million which is 90% of the total 2016 vote count for the Presidential race in Texas of 8.68 million. The Texas people are expecting a final vote total in the neighborhood of 12-14 million votes. Not good news for Trump or John Cornyn.

Texas is definitely in play. GOP has no money to spend and Bloomberg is getting ready to spend $20M in Dallas & Houston markets.

Beto O'Rourke lost the 2018 Senate race to Cruz by a mere 215,000 votes, 2.5% of the vote, a signal that the state is at least turning purple, Latino/Hispanic vote is growing every day. Texas will never be a red state again. When Texas turns blue, the GOP becomes irrelevant.

Remember when the religious right reached it’s political peak with Pat Robertson’s run for President in 1988? Then it all went to ****. I get the feeling that’s what’s happening now in states like Texas and Georgia. The Barrett nomination will have been the zenith.
