If one likes a whiny irrelevant partisan scum, yes he is. As I stated in 2016 and he is reaffirming, he is the one person actually worse than Trump

Why does it bother you so much? He literally spend his time using the Democrats, most of them part of that committee, own words and positions to literally destroy their arguments. Stop it. You all were warned every step of the way but being the short sighted individuals you all are, you accepted it. Now, the right plays ball the same way and you all cry.

He doesn't bother me other than he shouldn't be one of the 100 esteemed individuals in the Senate. He is a piece of ****. What he has said in these hearings including the stupid questions yesterdays about piano lessons is proof of not taking the job seriously and he is big part of the worthless swamp. You should also be in favor of Senators that takes their job seriously and not read Green Eggs and Ham on the senate floor or ask a SC nominee about piano lessons

But nice projection. It is you that is creating threads whining about Dem senators. Go look, scum

You mean “Whitehouse’s beautiful mind” or Hirono’s whatever the hell that was.

You bring up the Green Eggs and Ham. That was a filibuster. Good lord, grudge much? Ted Cruz is one of the smartest Senators in the Senate.

If Ted Cruz is part of the swamp, what does that make Biden? Biden sold the office of VPOTUS all over the world to enrich himself and his family. More correctly stated, he sold out the American people. And he did it egregiously and brazenly; as if he was entitled to it. Biden is the definition of the swamp.
Yet, this doesn't bother you?

First, it isn't me that proclaim "drain the swamp" and support that as an election campaign slogan that I support as your type did in 2016. So, my comment here is throwing that back in the face of the right wing Trumper scum.

Second and it is a change of subject of the thread a little, I'm not in favor of term limits and I appreciate experience of our leaders in addition it is the will of the people of who they want represent. If the scum of Texas want Cruz, then they have him and the country is worse off for it in my view. Same with any other Senator or House member. That is called applying a fair standard across the board and not being hypocritical as the "drain the swamp" crap has been over the past 4 years

In the past I did not care for Cruz......but.....that has changed....he is brilliant and is very, very smart. Whitehouse is a real piece of work. It's beyond me that all the enlightened, educated and generally smart posters we have on this board , that they can't see how these Democrat Senators are acting.
We have one poster that will stand 5 or so hours in line, while possibily spewing out the virus and putting others at risk, to vote......but can't see what scum and pieces of **** the likes of Durbin,Whitehouse and Hirono really are.

I would include Senators Booker, Leahy, Feinstein, Harris and Schumer on your list.

How to speak out of both sides of your mouth in one thread. First he claims Cruz doesn't bother him, but still shouldn't be in the Senate.

He doesn't bother me other than he shouldn't be one of the 100 esteemed individuals in the Senate. He is a piece of ****

Then he turns around and claims the people of Texas have a right to pick who they want to represent them, even if they disagree with him about Cruz.

it is the will of the people of who they want represent. If the scum of Texas want Cruz, then they have him and the country is worse off for it in my view

Yet according to him, their choice shouldn't be in the Senate? Only he gets to decide who should represent Texas.

That is called applying a fair standard across the board and not being hypocritical

Oh really?

No Sir, that is called being not only diabolically dishonest but deleriously delusional.

I'm pretty sure Dershowitz said Cruz was his best student, doubt that was said lightly since they are on opposite ends of the political spectrum. He's quite a bit more intelligent than Whithouse, Koblechar, Hirono. In fact, there's few in there that are his intellectual equal.

You are an honest individual which is why I enjoy your comments. I never made any statement regarding his intelligence. I did call his line of questioning yesterday as "stupid" and it was. Smart people can act dumb on purpose.

My wife says I do all the time. I might be the only person that thinks I'm intelligent, though. Got a lot of golf in front of me, the VSGA state 4 ball, regulars, Sat and Sunday with hopefully a practice round friday(rain in forecast) at Popular Grove. That's the last course sam snead had anything to do with. Leave Monday afternoon for Chantilly and play a few holes that evening and then the VSGA super senior 4 ball tues and wed. Work half day thursday and go to Old White for a practice round thursday afternoon and then the Va/Carolina team matches. I'm teaming with WV stalwart Steve Fox for the 4 ball and foursome matches friday and then singles on saturday. That's a lot of golf.
