moderates usually only mean one thing. They are fiscally conservative while waving their virtue signaling flags that they support climate change issues, killing unborn babies, etc. Only when they are hit in the wallets or their safety is in danger do they start to support republican and/or conservative ideas.

Your excellent post makes me want to take a general question to the self described "moderates" on this forum. What is it about the base of the Democrat party they so despise that they can't identify with? Didn't their party brass railroad Bernie TWICE as he ran to represent the energy and idealism in the Democrat party?
