I’m sure OSHA would be involved too...Not Covid compliant! Maybe a black and white elbow bump???
Why do something so divisive when you could do something to show unity?

Yes does it bring healing or division? Healing so yes it would have been a better choice. Some don’t want healing. They want what is best for their political view. Why do something so divisive when you could do something to show unity?

Why would anyone be offended if the players wanted to wear a Black Live Matters on their helmet?
Because there are allot of racist bitches in this world that’s why!Why would anyone be offended if the players wanted to wear a Black Live Matters on their helmet?
Why is saying "All Lives Matter" offensive? Why would anyone be offended if the players wanted to wear a Black Live Matters on their helmet?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/all-lives-matter-black-lives-matter/Why is saying "All Lives Matter" offensive?
I’d say it more undermines the message they try to convey, they think black lives aren’t seen as equal to everyone else thus blm, saying all lives matter is akin to saying racism is dead. You’re saying black lives do matter as much as everyone else when they say the contrary. Why is saying "All Lives Matter" offensive?
That is terrible spin. No wonder the black community endlessly faces these struggles.
I agree. I know exactly why All Lives Matter is offensive. The black community wants a slogan that is theirs and only theirs and All Lives Matter infringes on that. I get it.I’d say it more undermines the message they try to convey, they think black lives aren’t seen as equal to everyone else thus blm, saying all lives matter is akin to saying racism is dead. I’m not really into the whole rah rah blm thing but to me it’s like supporting breast cancer month at this point. A sticker is so trivial and meaningless who even gives af? Just a waste of energy to whine and cry endlessly about all this.
Don't forget killed policeI support the message 10000% Its the fundamental foundation of the organization that i have the issue with. If they qwere an organization that DID support Black Lives and showed it ...but in their destruction of cities and biusinessesd they destroyed black businesses and lives so......actions speak louder than words. Some day i hope the youth of today will see the seperation between their message and their actions
Ummmm it's not about you.I agree. I know exactly why All Lives Matter is offensive. The black community wants a slogan that is theirs and only theirs and All Lives Matter infringes on that. I get it.
The problem with BLM is it claims white society is oppressing them and whites don't care. How the hell have I oppressed anyone? The first case I argued before the Supreme Court of the United States defended a group of black citizens' right to worship. Everyday I defend black citizens yet I am somehow the oppressor. BLM is intentionally divisive and a big reason why it is pimped.
You have a good take on the sticker. But what if it was a confederate symbol or White Lives Matter on the helmet? Would you agree it is still trivial?
This. I wish a well-meaning civil rights advocate would start a sincere and focused organization that we could all support. Black Lives Matter is a piece of genius...a bonafide wolf in sheep’s clothing.Because BLM is a terroristic, racist organization. You see black lives, as all lives, do matter, but BLM is not about that and you know it.
It is meant to be divisive. And it is meant to be vague as to what they are protesting and hoping to accomplish. They use generic terms like racial inequality because the devil is always in the details. No one can argue with the concept of racial equality, but we can certainly argue the shooting of Mike Brown wasn't racially motivated so they stay away from it.This. The reason is simple. People are offended by what BLM means. It is a Marxist Organization that Hijacked the name BLM to promote extreme Socialism and Tyranny. This may not be what the BLM stickers are promoting but it is the same as the Confederate flag. Minorities see that flag as racist and Southerners do not see it the same way. Many see BLM as a Communist Shakedown organization and Blacks see it as a social statement. Do these young players support Marxist principals? I don't think so but I don't know because they don't really define what they mean by the BLM Helmet sticker. Does the University support the Marxist BLM Organization? I don't know. They never mention what they support. I can tell you I have not heard a word about any other stickers the University allows on the helmets. Why would anyone be offended if the players wanted to wear a Black Live Matters on their helmet?
You said it much better than I did. Knowingly supporting this organization is adding to the problem. It has run me off from WVU football. I just don’t ENJOY it anymore. I need an outlet from this shitshow that society has become. It is meant to be divisive. And it is meant to be vague as to what they are protesting and hoping to accomplish. Essentially BLM is just a rally cry for the woke and black community and no substantive changes will result from it. Well, no positive substantive changes.

To hell with coronavirus social distancing - this speaks to us all with a message the Nation needs - unity. Why do something so divisive when you could do something to show unity?

Everyone is not "the problem" and it sounds like you're not. But, I see it every day, mostly on social media, so I know systemic racism is alive and well. When I lived in Alabama, it was just awful. I think the younger generation gets it though, so things will get better down the road.I agree. I know exactly why All Lives Matter is offensive. The black community wants a slogan that is theirs and only theirs and All Lives Matter infringes on that. I get it.

I’m not done with this site. I enjoy the interaction and have made numerous virtual friends and a group of “real” friends from this site.I got one last smart *** comment from a moderator. I'm done with this place too.
I live in Huntsville and don’t see this “awful” problem to which you refer. Certainly not worse than West Virginia or California, the other two states in which I lived.Everyone is not "the problem" and it sounds like you're not. But, I see it every day, mostly on social media, so I know systemic racism is alive and well. When I lived in Alabama, it was just awful. When I was running my businesses, people used to ask me how it was going. Since coal mining was always tough, I'd often reply "Steady by jerks". That was my pat line. We could go a long time and it seemed like things were going nowhere, then we'd "jerk" our way through issues with technology advancements, better work processes, etc. I don't like the organization BLM because of their stated political agenda, but we all know that racism in any form should be snuffed out. And I think it was time for a "jerk". Not burning, not looting, but a jerk.....
25,000,000 the number of black lives killed by abortion of which blm supports. Compare that number to 200 the number of African Americans killed by police. Who is hurting more African Americans. Listen to Kanye West speeches on the issue of abortion BTW 500 white folks have been killed by police during that same period. That is why many don’t support the BLM organization but believe in racial equality.Because there are allot of racist bitches in this world that’s why!
Maybe you're in a more progressive area HSV..... It was awful in Jasper.....I live in Huntsville and don’t see this “awful” problem to which you refer. Certainly not worse than West Virginia or California, the other two states in which I lived.
