Ha ha. I don't live in Ohio, dipsh!t; I've lived in West Virginia for 30 years. But thanks just the same as I have multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins who are NY teachers, and are overpaid (especially, in retirement), courtesy of your outrageous real estate taxes.
WV gets $12B more. So, still you're welcome. And if your house costs a lot, you'll pay a lot in property taxes. Now w/ the $10k cap, you should say your welcome again. Because now we pay more than we were paying before. Without us, you probably wouldn't have any roads. You'd be getting to work on horseback.

Climate task force....More government waste of taxpayer money. Just another way for leftists to fleece America and its citizens. How these leftists voters are so blind to reality is mind numbing.

It has nothing to do with the climate. Read the other article I posted with it.

Here is another.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/aoc-chief-of-staff-confirms-green-new-deal-was-not-really-about-the-climate?_amp=true

In a report by the Washington Post, Saikat Chakrabarti revealed that "it wasn’t originally a climate thing at all ... we really think of it as a how-do-you-change-the-entire-economy thing

Population of New York is 10X the population of West Virginia. California 2X the population of New York. All three states are overtaxed and majority-run by leftists.

Oh I know. Leftists admit it's about government takeover and leftist voters can't comprehend, they are so brainwashed. So brainwashed their "leaders" tell them to their face and they don't get it.

Yeah, none of NY's taxes go down the sewer known as NYC, right? You're welcome for the hijacking that I experience every time that I drive on the New York Thruway, as I pay your outrageous tolls. I'm sure that the truckers like to pay $100.00+ just to take one trip over a NYC bridge. LOL at your outrageous tax system. Turn out the NYC lights when you're the last one to leave.

Your IQ is below room temperature, isn't it? I grew up in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University, as well as Ohio University, but in your delusional world, I was never allowed to move out of state, right? Then, why did you attend a college in a different state than where you live now, Westchester boy?

Sewer? LOL. NYC will be fine as will Westchester. I'll keep paying my high taxes, because I can afford it as will just about everyone else around here. All those people moving from NYC? They're moving 30 mins away to Westchester, Long Island, CT and NJ.

LOL. Like calling me Westchester boy is a dig. Its one nicest counties in the country. I just find it funny you have a screen name that reflects somewhere you went 30 years ago, but can't get over the fact I have a screen name from a place I lived and worked in a few years ago and that I'm in several times a week. 1) I'm a centrist and 2) you can have a bad mayor and it still be a great city. People trip over themselves to live and visit here. Its one of the greatest cities in the world. But some guy thats from the Oxy capital of the world and and lives in a state that owes most of its services to the states footing the bill things its a sewer.

Oh, NYC was a great city when Rudy Guliani was in charge. Now, it's a **** hole, and you're living in the past. You obviously moved to West Virginia to go to school here, so if it is so bad, then why did you spend years of your life here?

The problem is those studies is what federal dollars are included in those expenditures. States with higher concentrations of military bases and government departments skew the data. WV receives "more" because of all the federal agencies that have parked themselves in WV.

NYC is just fine. Rudy Guliani was mayor before I moved here, but by most accounts he did a very good job...as did Bloomberg to which I'm sure you wouldn't agree although you don't have much info on how either did. As I said, I'm a centrist, which to Reps is socialist, and I'm perfectly fine saying a Rep did a good job. I've voted for many.

NYC is and will continue to be a world class city. People moved after 9/11 and moved back. The same will happen once things get back to normal. To think otherwise, is delusional.

Wait, so now you’re advocating for higher tax credits? Effective additional tax cuts for specific states? Interesting.

I don't know why? That poster didn't even itemize the credits that are legally available under current law! By that poster's own admission an '18 return on a quarter million dollar income was sent in with no itemized deductions....no real estate interest, no passive interest, no tax deferred savings, no retirement savings (401K) no donations to charity, no capital gains....nada. So I'm amused that poster now supports a return to taxing all of those existing breaks in the current law at even higher rates, (Biden) when the poster never took advantage of the lower rates available in the first place!

Why is that poster waiting to be taxed at even higher rates, and why isn't that additional income being sent in already? Think you'll get an honest answer if you ask?

Nope...but you will get this.....

Oh sh*t...even though I have that pesky Negro on "ignore" I still have to keep away from being exposed as a fraud...huff...huff...

Sorry @DvlDog4WVU ....don't bother asking me anything about my taxes....huff...huff...huff....

Yep, we need Biden to overhaul the disastrous trump tax plan and reinstate many of the tax credits previously available. It will be nice to see all the trump **** disappear.

You didn't claim any of the tax breaks available to you under the current law! What are you talking about? You didn't itemize any property tax deductions on your 250K income. :joy:

I didn't vote for Cuomo, and we got the worst of it before anyone knew what the hell was going on w/ the virus. Now we are going much better than the rest of the country.

So, NY PAYS $22B more than it gets from the Federal Government. OH GETS $34B more than it gives. Looks like OH and is sucking off the federal government tit, and NY is footing the bill. So, you're welcome for the welfare handouts.

And how much of that profit/income that you are paying taxes on is because of companies or states that do business with individuals or companies based in those blue states?

Being from WV it is very similar to the out of state companies taking WV's natural resources and paying taxes on the states where they are incorporated...Banking is huge in NY. I guess on people in NY are the only investors who dabble in the stock market....such a stupid way to look at this.

No they are not and you know it....it's a major issue for NY. People moved to FL, NY is making them prove that they they actually live there...that's how bad it is....and on a side note, a lot of the 25-35 year olds have already left and will not be returning any time soon...it is what it is.

No you aren't. The exact opposite is true. The higher your income the more likely you are to itemize and take deductions, which from a real estate perspective is limited to $10k.

country absolutely disagrees with you on this. Ask country why a 250K return in '18 was sent in with zero itemized deductions?

Find where I said DeBlasio did OK.

So you want to "parse" your comments?

OK.

You were speaking of the current state of New York city using examples of past Mayors were you not? Then you stated the following:

NYC is just fine.
I believe that statement as it's written is in the present perfect tense...meaning "as things stand now". Extrapolating your initial comparison to the current city leadership, I assume current Mayor DeBlasio's leadership qualifies in your statement does it not?

Then you further stated:
NYC is and will continue to be a world class city
Again, using the present perfect tense, and extemporaneously superimposing your analysis into the future perfect tense, you equated the city's current direction under the current Mayor then you predicted future success for New York city, although you did not specify under who's direction New York may continue to enjoy it's current levels of prosperity and good fortune.

You did not however "qualify" your analysis to exclude the current Mayor when indicating "New York is fine", or a "World class city", so I assumed you were including him in your objective analysis. So why don't YOU explain exactly who you were giving credit to for its alleged current exalted status, and future success?

I assume reading your colloquial English and interpreting your analogous examples of previous successful city leadership that you were indeed referring to the current Mayor. Where is my error?

BOOM! Trump’s approval rating is back up to 51%. He is pushing back on the unhinged mob—and America likes what it sees.

It's about restoring Law and order! Trump is insisting we MUST have it, while Democrats like Jerry Nadler claim the open anarchy is a "myth"!

Well, the Democrat landslide loss because of their refusal to address lawlessness will be no myth!

Go Trump!

I'm the Law & order candidate atl, and Joe Biden won't even debate me over it!

You're not a "centrist," so stop lying, and own your liberalism. I can't stand Bloomberg's politics, but I've heard that he was a decent mayor, unlike Communist DeBlasio. It's ironic as he!! that you tout NYC, after you have moved out of that **** hole yourself. I learned a long time ago to watch what liberals do more intently than listen to what they say/read what they post.
