Kaep took a knee in 2016 in silent protest of police brutality against black people. He was subsequently black balled from being able to to showcase his skills in the NFL. Here we are now in 2020 and the exact same issue has cropped up again in an even larger manner nationwide.

"Black balled"? Stop being racist. [roll]Couldn't resist since everything that is being said seems to offend someone.

I know it’s crazy right. I know I’m not supposed to say Indian Giver but am I allowed to say Black Balled?? Quite the conundrum

There you go again. You insulted those with mental instabilities by using the word "crazy". What is wrong with you?????? Gee whiz! [laughing]

If you don’t think Kaep shoulda been collecting paychecks in the NFL the past 3 seasons then you just don’t know much about football.

Young lad stay off daddy's computer late at night. Adults are chatting.

Kaepernick is an antisemitic propagandist spreading Marxist lies and encouraging division and hate. If it’s not about the flag they could kneel at any other time, but instead they have to slap good Americans in the face instead and accuse them of all being racists. That’s what systemic racism is, a giant lie that smears and dehumanizes an entire group of people. Kap and the rest of the Hate America First crowd will never make things better - for example their calls to defund the police will only create more chaos, more death, less business investment, less hope in minority communities.

You see, the left believes in the freedom of speech just not the consequences for it.

He suffered the consequences for it. He got fired.

Those owners and general managers also have their freedom of speech. They symbolically stated they weren't hiring him because it would hurt their product. He wasn't, and never was, a Tom Brady, Joe Montana, or Brett Favre. He'd be a backup somewhere, even in the best of circumstances, and backups and practice squad QB's are a dime a dozen.

But his stats were still better than 1/3 of starting QB's in the league....even his worst year as a starter. I'm not a fan, but he wasn't as bad as some of the QB's that I've seen in the NFL.
Great athlete, bad for locker room....
Was before the kneeling

Comparing Catturdnick to a true hero like Pat Tillman is like comparing a 12' john boat to an aircraft carrier.

Bull ****. The Kid had 2 good years and then his head swelled. Hasn't been worth a **** since.

LMAO!

He's better than Sam Darnold, Andy Dalton, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dwayne Haskins, Case Keenum, Tyrod Taylor, Josh Rosen, Ryan Tannehill, and Daniel Jones. Four of those are starters and five are second string.

Awesome. You think he's better than some bench warmers. Tell me something. Will he cry or kneel in protest when his *** isn't good enough to start?

If he could help a team win he would be playing.

I know you guys want to believe that, but it's not true. Anyone who watches some of the QB's play for teams, including backups, would know that he could have helped.

Kevin Hardy beat a lady on video and tortured her and after sitting out his suspension a team found a roster spot for him.

If a multimillion dollar athlete can’t stand for 2 minutes for the national anthem, then he shouldn’t be in the league period.

No he wasn’t. Easily coulda been on a 2 deep every year since. Maybe a starter on 1/3 of the teams.
The lesson learned is the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. And let’s be honest, if he were a legit starter, he’d still be playing. For backup QB? With that kind of sideshow coming along? I’d question any business man’s sanity to take that kind of risk. It’s about money, and nothing more.

So you believe that your employer controls your freedom to protest peacefully? I thought you believed in the Constitution.

So is your stance that he WAS or WAS NOT good enough to be with a team?

That’s my personal opinion just out of respect for this country and what the flag represents. No, the employer shouldn’t control it and they didn’t in his case. He went the whole season kneeling . But let’s also use a little common sense.
