So, you are going to continue normal operations? This evening as wife and I were walking around the neighborhood, we stopped and talked to 2 ladies that work in two different pediatric offices that were talking to each other. Both said the offices are changing procedures with their schedules and waiting room protocol. One said waiting room is closed and patients wait in their cars waiting for cell phone call when to come in. I thought the conversation was very interesting.
did you maintain social distancing? I believe in being smart, not being crazy. Hopefully, it won't get too much worse and then start to get better by the end of April. It will probably start back up in the fall but maybe there's some sort of treatment by then

Pointing out whacko lies? Yes, it is easily done. Just read almost any post from you two and quite a few others on here. Hence is why there is so much whining from *** suckers like you two. Keep it up.

However, it is my opinion that i don't believe we will have much of a medical treatment by end of April.

lol It’s a virus. There is no “treatment”. Rest, hydrate, stay home, take Tylenol and ibuprofen. It’s a cold.

Don't tell the hyper ventillators that. You might ruin their crisis, which they never want to go to waste.

Huh? I swear you nuts can't read. Even though we disagree slightly on whether it is a cold or not, you just agreed with Airport and I on there isn't going to be a treatment soon. But it didn't stop you from being a moron by posting a false comment. No surprise and is why most reasonable people on here won't converse with your type. But feel free making stupid posts with the others.

Congratulations folks, you not only drank the kool-aid, you’ve proven America has become weak. Freaking out in mass hysteria over essentially a cold that is comparable to the flu. Except only, the flu has killed about 4,800 people this year in the US. Buying up all the toiletries you can find is embarrassing. And cancelling sports, traditional tournaments, events, schools, businesses is unacceptable. This is NOT a plague. Like the flu, unless you’re elderly with underlying health problems, you will fully recover in 7-10 days. Hydrate, rest, stay inside, and take Tylenol and Ibuprofen. Hard to believe as little as 200 years ago, our ancestors stood up to fight a civil war. I wouldn’t trust most of you to fight through a wet paper bag.

There is a middle road. This is a very dangerous virus. We do not have herd immunity. And it will kill. It will kill millions, if we don't act.

Do what everyone is recommending. But don't freak out, make the most of the situation as you can. Life will return to normal over time. For God's sake quit buying toilet paper.

I've got to poop.

I'm not your son and you don't have all the facts yet. So as "medical professional" who seemed to missed how to deal with highly contagious pandemics maybe you should wait until it's completely over before you get a bunch of elderly and people with compromised immune systems killed.

My Gunny!

Yep. It would help if the general public would Educate themselves on what a virus is. This is a complete embarrassment

Hopefully a vaccine by next season...if it becomes seasonal like the flu.

A vaccine could be developed sooner but the health professionals will not release it for widespread use until they know its potential side effects. They are not going to inject 75% of the country with something that is 10% effective and possibly more injurious than the virus itself. This is standard health practice regardless of whether it’s a Dem or Rep getting the shot. My understanding is it takes several months to evaluate a new vaccine once one has been developed.

I did hear an interesting discussion regarding collecting plasma from patients that have recovered from Corona. The logic is antibodies from it could help weaker vulnerable people to resist becoming infected. We all need to stay tuned and stay smart.

lol I’ll stick with American Medicine. Canada says Ibuprofen is ok. Whatever agenda you choose, you can find supporting opinions. I noticed France gives no rationale. Stop slurping the kool aid and get it together

You're not a doctor. It's a shame I keep having to remind you of that. I'm a huge Trump supporter. I trust he will listen to his Doctors and Scientist and make the best decisions for our country.

Really? You trust him to listen to the doctors and scientists? What about 2 weeks ago when he laughed this off as a political "hoax"? I don't recall your outrage for him saying that? Now you want the "hysteria media" reports.

No, you didn't...Gunny....whatever your name is in this thread.......I'm still waiting to see where you blasted Trump's initial response, since this virus thing has really got your blood pumping.

I'm calm moron. Trump shutting down travel as fast as he did bought us time. If your healthy you will be fine however it's highly contangious and will stress our hospital systems with elderly and people with compromised immune systems needing medical care. It's a shame you can't quit playing partisan politics and support your President.

I don't see where he hasn't done everything he should. Everyone is mobilized, we have less than 100 deaths in the entire country so far. Calm down maggots.

You seem to not understand Doctors rely on their nurses assessment and suggestions to treat patients. So calm down joy behar. It’s not a doctor’s stethoscope lol

It's not about you giving an I.V. It's about the system getting stressed because it's highly contaigous and is deadly to the elderly and to people with compromised immune systems. Do they not practice mass casualty exercises where you work? How many ventilators does your hospital have?

The op and the poster is probably the most ridiculous and ignorant bullsh1t ive ever come across.

These decisions are being made by Republicans, Democrats and business CEOs that are listening to EXPERTS (which you are absolutely not) in both the science and logistics of pandemics and infectious diseases.

Stories out of Seattle ERs, as well as Italy and France, do not indicate this is just dangerous for the olds.

Even still, the danger of overwhelming our hospitals effects everyone. Think of the logistics of hundreds (even thousands) of deaths at each hospital in your area. Not to mention ICU units, and healthcare workers and supplies being used beyond their supply. Yet heart attacks, car crashes, strokes, etc.... continue to occur.

This virus has already shown its powerful ability to spread faster than any flu or corona virus before it. What if it’s ability to mutate is just as advanced?

People are not taking the decision to shut down lightly. These are people that stand to lose a substantial amount of money, political support, and financial support, yet they are making these calls because they believe these costs will be higher if we go about business as usual.

Do your part - listen to people that know what they are talking about - self sacrifice for the community - work together

This is no joke
