Mark Emmert just announced that no fans will be allowed at games for Div 1 men's and women's basketball tournament. Only players, supporting staff, families etc. will be allowed. What a bummer? But under the current circumstances, it is probably the prudent thing to do.

Thanks to democratic Party the world is in a frenzy of Panic. Perhaps they should play video basketball games from their safe corners of their own apartments.

So about 2000 people out of 356 million got the virus. It’s only dangerous to the elderly and already unhealthy people and we are shutting the country down.

It's not just here. I heard from a friend today who teaches in Italy. The nut who was recently elected head of state there doesn't know whether **** or go blind. My friend looks at it as couple of weeks of extra paid vacation.

COVID-19: U.S. at a Glance*
  • Total cases: 938
  • Total deaths: 29
  • Jurisdictions reporting cases: 39 (38 states and District of Columbia)
* Data include both confirmed and presumptive positive cases of COVID-19 reported to CDC or tested at CDC since January 21, 2020, with the exception of testing results for persons repatriated to the United States from Wuhan, China and Japan. State and local public health departments are now testing and publicly reporting their cases. In the event of a discrepancy between CDC cases and cases reported by state and local public health officials, data reported by states should be considered the most up to date.

I believe 11 of those deaths were from the nursing home in Washington - prime at risk population.

The elderly in poor health are at the biggest risk.

I'm not too scared of the virus. I'm more scared of peoples reaction to it....losing their reasonability.

Businesses and organizations will make their decisions based on their liability. Regular folks should be able to function like they dont have legal, HR, and PR departments guiding them - hopefully.

Troll Allen why did trump reverse course and institute a travel ban? If this is the democrats fault then why did he play into there hands. Trump stated that the virus was no big deal but latter reversed course. He is an incompetent nit wit. if Trump would listen to the people who know like doctors and scientists instead of bankers and drug addict Rush Limbaugh he wouldn't have got caught wit his pants down.

The travel ban on China was imposed in late Jan I believe.

Biden said it was Xenophopic.

What does that have to do with the travel ban on europe?

You said her reversed course but he already made travel bans over a month ago.

The response has been stronger than we have previously...

Look at 2009. We had nearly 1,000 deaths before true mobilization.

I would like testing for anyone entering country...but didnt happen and not sure it would have prevented it from entering country.

instituting a travel ban on europe is reversing course. This is the man who tried to down play the virus. This is the man who said a week ago that the number of case's in this country would go down. This is the man who said a vaccine was relatively close. You're a fox bot that's been duped by this con man

How is putting a travel ban on europe a month after he put a travel ban on china a reverse course?

A 2.5 billion. Then 8 billion release of funds...

The admins actions dont meet your hysterics.

Inducing a panic isnt beneficial to anyone.
