way better coaching hire than Neal Brown. Fuente is an excellent coach and turned Memphis around.

Fuente better than Brown. Ok. And Spud Webb is taller than Shaq. Easier to "turn around" Memphis than Troy

Only borderline interested in who they choose, and that because it's a Big 12 team. More interested in Huggins Heroes Pitbull Defense taking down Texas Tech at 6 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2.

Sure hope not. Vermont is beginning to circle the drain and I want to see Fuente stay and finish the job.

Serious question because I do not know the answer... what was Troy’s record the previous 5 years prior to Brown?

He took over a program from someone that was there 23 years.
Stability is usually the key in college football.

We heard this logic when Bucky was trolling you about K State.

Nothing against Neal Brown but he doesn't deserve all the credit for Troy...
Maybe that is why they named the field in 2011 after Larry Blakeney

We are in the presence of greatness, TVZ. Let us bow and worship.

Larry Blakeney was the previous HC before Brown. He was a decent coach for them. But his final 5 years not so much.

TVZ will never answer your question because he knows he's wrong.

not sure if serious. Troy played in a weaker conference. Memphis was in a rut before Fuente and also changed to a different, more difficult conference.

Fuente at Memphis 1-4 vs ranked teams. 1-1 Bowls
Fuente at Va.Tech 4-8 vs ranked teams. 1-3 in Bowl Games

26-23 at Memphis
33-20 at Va.Tech

New list of 4 for Baylor HC
4. Billy Napier, Louisiana
3. Josh Heupel, UCF
2. Sonny Dykes, SMU
1. Joey McGuire/Jeff Nixon

No one knows the inner workings of Rhule’s ideologies on coaching and recruiting and running a college football program than long-time assistant Jeff Nixon. Much of Rhule’s ideas on player development come from the NFL and a lot of Nixon’s experience coaching is as an NFL assistant.

McGuire was one of the many Texas high school coaches Rhule hired upon taking the Baylor job. He won three state championships at Cedar Hill high school in Texas and has been a fast riser on Rhule’s staff.

Listen to what Neal Brown says about Larry Blankney.

It is like you don't even know your own coach.

Regarding Baylor
Most likely will be McGuire.
Napier is an outside possibly.
Baylor would love to put themselves in a good position recruiting Louisiana.

What does that have to do with being a loser in his final 5 years. It's like you're trying to be the most improved troll of the board.

Regarding Baylor
Their ranked at a sizzling high of 55 and 10th in Big 12. Baylor can't even recruit Texas how would they do in Louisiana.

Average star ranking is more important right now because no one has their full class yet.

Before then he won 5 straight conference championships.

He coached there for 20+ years and Neal Brown was one of his assistants during that time.

So when Neal Brown was named head coach he knew where everything was at.

Brown was in a much better situation. This isn't taking anything from him as a coach.
Neal Brown has the upmost respect for Larry Blakeney as a coach so I am sure he would say the same thing.

He won those in FCS. I don't really give **** what he won why they named the field after him. What happened to your other profile Buckaineer?

He won 5 straight Sun Belt Championships
2006-2010.

Neal Brown was an assistant for some of those.
Tech hired him from Troy.

A lot of who Neal Brown is as a coach comes from him.

You are continuing this stupid argument for the sake of arguing.

Doesn't matter who the better coach is.

Just matters who the right coach is for WVU.
Right now that looks to be Neal Brown because he knows how to create stable programs.
A lot of that comes from what he learned at Troy

Please stop TVZ. I think we've all got it.
