In the U.S to watch the sunset ?
Wherever you are that you get to see one.

Anywhere on the west coast of FL is likely the easiest place for you to get to. On the cliffs in Carlsbad, CA is another. Hawaii? Never been there, but I’d think it would be awesome. Alaska?

Have had some magical sunsets in a lot of places. Depends on the mood and what you’re looking to get out of it and who you’re with I suppose.

I dunno. Greatest sunrise I’ve ever seen was in top of Algonquin Mt in the high peaks of the N.Y.’s Adirondacks. Left the parking lot at 2am and was well worth it.

Spent some time in and around Moab last summer. It is fantastic.

Clear nights are even better in the National/State Parks. Area is almost completely void of light pollution (which I assume is a hippie term, but still cool)

From several of the mountaintops on the backcountry trail to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite.

Sunset Key in Key West is nice as well. all of mine are going to be based on water, cuz that’s my church. Why are you asking? Planning on proposing to some special little filly?

Sunset cruises are always nice. You can charter a boat for one pretty cheap at damn near any Marina from Pensacola to Key West.

I love sunrises and sunsets on the open water. One leads to a day of drinking and fish screaming out the drag on my reels, the sound of diesels humming and turbo’s winding, salty spray air, warm sunshine on the face, and some good tunes. The other usually leads to mommy chugging daddy’s hog after a couple of glasses of Pinot Noir under the stars to quiet sounds of waves lapping at the side of the boat.

cant go wrong either way.

Hit the West Coast. Check out San Diego and the gas lamp quarter and North to Carlsbad. Ton of little spots to grab a beer on the PCH. In Carlsbad village there is an Italian joint that looks like a ******** called Jay’s gourmet. Red clam sauce is insane.

Stay at the HGI in Carlsbad Beach. Short walk across the street to the cliffs to watch the sunset.

Same area as Del Mar. The beaches are deserted this time of year.

Yea, used to be my stomping grounds for a little while. Between La Jolla, PB, and Oceanside, I crushed some surfer chick *** back in the day.

I’ve been there. I stayed in the historic Coronado hotel, it’s really cool, but no, I never spent time partying out there. That was “teams land”.
Yeah. I didnt know if you gave that a shot.

**** no, man. I couldn’t handle the PT aspect of it. I fvcking hate running and they love it. If I were to have tried for anything it would have been STA (Surveillance Target Acquisition/Snipers) or Recon, but again, the running thing. I got to play with those guys in training ops and had a blast, did some other cool stuff on the borders with some DEA guys. I loved my time, but to be honest, I never planned to make a career out of it. It was a time in my life I’ll never regret or forget, but it was to figure **** out on what I wanted to be.

Oh I can understand that. It takes a special kind of masochist to love that PT. I went to college with a guy who ended up on some SF team. Even in college he would just run for ***** and giggles. Great guy.
