Thats tuff ...i can see why the police had to do what they did ( i think they should have taken a head shot ) but his home was wrecked....he should only try & charge what the cost would have been to restore to previous condition, that i could see not the new mansion

No good police officers want to destroy sombody's home. Especially since the suspect ran into a home that wasn't his.Tactical SOP's are developed by experts then reviewed by lawyers then certified by local and state representatives. If the Police Department violated those SOP's then they should be held responsible. Obviously the lawyers haven't been able to prove that. Somehow he built a bigger and better house. Who paid for that ? Insurance ? If so then what's the real problem. The suspect shot at cops. That's clear intent he wanted to kill cops. CR89 and her Antifa turd friends want anarchy. Cops stand in the way.

This thread has nothing to do with Antifa. You f’ucking moron.
Like I said the other day, this board has gone to ****. I post a thread for honest, open debate and dialogue and moron82 posts tweets with no relevance and you bring up Antifa.

Thanks roadtrasheer for the post. Although we don’t agree on politics, I respect the fact that you commented on your thoughts on the topic.

I'm assuming his insurance paid for his new home. He wouldn't clarify those facts.

Chicom coop in favor of turds shooting at cops and innocent civilians. What part of if SOP's were broken by the government then should they should have to pay didn't you comprehend ? If not then insurance can pay for it.

Are you in favor of taxpayers picking up the cost of all damage initiated by criminals? Or we stick to the concept of if the Government violates laws they pay if not then insurance pays. Chicom Coop calling people commies. You're a special kind of goofy this morning.

That's pretty ****ed up. City should definitely owe him the cost to repair the house.

That will get costly very quickly for taxpayers if we start having to pay for damage Intiated by criminals. If a bad guy steals your car and is shooting at people while cops are in pursuit then the turd drives it into someones house. Should taxpayers be on the hook for all that damage or should insurance companies be forced to cover it ? If a court rules that the government violated the law then by all means they should have to pay.

Having thoughtful conversation instead of slinging insults back and forth makes for much more productive and interesting conversation.

That’s an interesting perspective I hadn’t considered.

The city should have a policy to cover that. You can't put the liability and responsibility on the owner who was at no fault.

Even if this dude could have "repaired" his house, and have his insurance cover it, it's only going to jack up his premiums and be an undue burden on him.

Emotional point of view that I can empathise with. But once we go down that road be prepared for a huge tax increase on everything to start paying for damages caused by criminals.

Criminal didn't cause that damage. Police blowing out his walls to get him did.
