Not big on stats in football especially after 4 games.
Where one game is 25% of the data and the schedules are so different.

Football will always be a sport you have to watch.

The perimeter is the key. Can WV spread the field by using the perimeter.

Neal Brown is worried about the safties and Texas' length.
When a coach talks about the length they are talking about perimeter containment.

Much easier to stop a team who wants to stretch horizontally than vertically.
But sometimes you cannot stretch a team Vertically without the ability to get safties to bite and be near the LOS.

We have a better chance at beating Oklahoma.

Kendall knows all their offensive signs and can pretty much read what they are doing on offense better than the coaches.
Would be much better if he was the backup in that game and Doege or someone else was ready to play.

You are just mad that stats don’t lie, and the truth they are exposing is that Texas ain’t all that on defense. If the stats were all in texas’ favor, you would have been the one to post them.

West Virginia isn't LSU.

What LSU is capable of doing is one thing. What West Virginia is capable of doing is another.

This is why stats lie. You're looking at stats to form conclusions about football games based on other football games that don't involve your team.

College football coaches watch video. They don't look at stats.
They don't form their game plan based on what the stats say unless you are talking about certain play.
There is a degree of statistics involved in football but that is based on playcalling and play sequence.

Apparently Texas isn’t LSU either.

They had more fire power and a more accurate QB. NFL QB who is extremely accurate with a bunch of NFL WRs.
I do think Texas could be better by the end of the year. We might see in the Sugar Bowl.

That doesn't take away what WVU can learn from that game if Texas shows certain packages.
The film is more important than the stats.

But those throws made by Burrow were NFL quality according to scouts.

Vandy also scored 38 points on LSU. Just saying...

Is he from Carthage so who knows but he took that play hard. Probably going to pay back LSU next year
Truthfully the ability of Texas to run the ball will determine a lot. I doubt WVU will go all in trying to stop the run.
This is why your DL coach has made a point for your DL to go low on the backs.
They cannot allow the RBs to get into the second level consistently because this will force WVU to play more men in the box and open up the passing game.

I have no idea what Herman is trying to do but against Oklahoma State they didn't throw early to establish a run because Oklahoma State played their safties two deep and over the WRs.
