On the realignment front, like the actual coaching front you have to look at reality.

Go around social media and there is a constant, relentless effort to convince OU and Texas to leave the BIG 12. Its been going on since before 2012 and continues 24/7 365 to this day.

This has an effect on fanbases, and then on administrators and people in power at those universities.

The Big Ten schools are now generating alot of money in media rights from their conference. They will get a new contract in 2023 (2nd new one before anyone else gets to the table).

The SEC is a bit ahead of the BIG 12 in media rights right now, but behind the B10. They are desperate to change that dynamic. They get a new CBS deal for their top games around the same time the BIG 12 will be negotiating a new contract.

Bottom line is you don't want your school being Kragthorped leading into that time period. You want to be on top of your game in the primary sports.

Right now, WVU is being Kragthorped.

There were about 90,000 threads on Coach Holgorsen, based on made up b.s. such as "he wears a black shirt--doesn't he know he is coaching WVU?" (notice Brown wears a GRAY shirt and not a peep), he drinks Red Bull (oh the humanity!!!), "yeah he won 10 games, but um, uh, it was with someone else's players, or but he didn't win the bowl!!" on and on and on--you either participated or were not concerned.

Now we have a seemingly incompetent staff on hand that has the Mountaineer program looking to be in dire straits long term--and you don't want anyone talking about it? Why exactly? What changed?

The Mountaineers are doing very poorly due to the new coaching staff. This is a message board to discuss the past, present and future state of Mountaineer athletics. Good and bad as evidenced by all the animous the past 8 years directed at the previous staff.

Why are you trying to stop an honest conversation about the current dire situation?

What exactly are you afraid of?

P.S.--presenting real stats and information about the performance of the current staff and team and discussing the same, is not "trolling"--you saying nothing but trying to stop discussion about the same, and going after me personally IS trolling.
