The pundits think ISU or Texas might be able to.

So far though ISU started out a little shaky--we'll see how they do against their instate rivals.

Kansas State with their new coach looks solid after two non P5 teams. Will be interested to see their matchup this weekend with an SEC east team. If they win that then they look to be pretty strong this year, and Baylor is looking like they are getting back to their successful form as well.

Iowa wins by 10.
Mississippi State by 30.
Baylor playing high school boys so they can go 6-6 and make a bowl.

You saw what you got with Austin Kendall. That was how much OU needed a QB.

But the one they do have hasn't shown the ability to slice up a defense with his arm.
OU tried to get that rolling last week but it isn't there yet. Jalen Hurts has to become a better passer.
Their Defense isn't there yet and has huge holes defending the run but they haven't played a QB with an arm and won't play one until the last week of September.

As of right now OU is on upset alert against Texas Tech unless of course Tech completely ***** the bed the next two weeks.

Their offense is dangerous.

What exactly have the Sooners won?

Houston and South Dakota.

Thought you tapped out Greggy.
Anyway. Watched some of Pitt's women's volleyball yesterday. Pretty decent. Not on the level of Penn State, Texas, Stanford or Nebraska but pretty good.
What is up with the A/C. You cannot afford A/C in your gym. Made people not want to show up and made Pitt look bad.

Nah the pundits believe UT and ISU have a good chance- both beat OU recently.

KSU looks like a sleeper for the conference this year.

Greg you missed it...I linked TVZ and RichardCranium last night. Proved they were the same poster. He got real fussy and needed a diaper change.

I’m not gonna reply much for awhile so the site can settle down. I’ll do my part because I am a pro WVU guy but must say good work and I giggled.

Just disengaging for awhile with the gutter stuff. Free site needs a cleansing and I’m part of it. Honestly I’m just a football and hoops guy. I’ve read the volleyball team is good but really have no idea about anything VB. Not sure but probably played at old gym from the 60s and 70s.

I traded with Richard for the swing shift today. He had a rough night last night. I did make one screw up today. I mentioned michiganherd Richard brought him up last night. I did post after midnight last night shortly after Richard got his butt stomped.

Their offense is dangerous.

20-23 332 yards / 176 rushing.
14- 18 259 yards / 47 yards rushing

total 34-41 591 yds / 223 rushing

Yup needs to learn to slice up a defense....[roll]

Texas Tech finally plays a team this week. Sort of. As Arizona not exactly a world beater.

OU will slap TTU like a pimp beating it's *****.

Haven't you learned already stats lie to you.

There were huge issues in the first game with Hurts connecting with Lamb vertically.
OU made sure they established that in their second game against a FCS school in South Dakota.

Lincoln Riley said this after the Houston game and then said Saturday night that he wanted to establish a passing game.
But that was against a FCS school. Hurts is still a work in progress.

Yes they do. But you put the stats in play by saying Hurts can't carve up anyone.

Even when Lincoln Riley mentions it you know there is something wrong.
Rewatch OU vs Houston.

If that is Oklahoma's offense in the Big 12 they will lose 3 games.
But Riley understands they have things to work on the question is can it get done before Tech.

Texas Tech is going to score on Oklahoma. Bowman could easily throw 400 yards on them.

Funny thing is.
You know the last QB to throw for 400 yards on LSU.
Happened in 2011
Texas put up 500 yards of offense on a team with 6-8 future NFL starters.

But they aren't there yet as they were trying to save their RBs.
They need to develop more of a Running game with their RBs. They have 2 healthy ones this week and a converted QB who has looked good. They should each get 15 carries this week.
Truthfully first creampuff Texas has played since 2017.

Their problem is generating a pass rush from their DL.
Their 2020 DL recruiting class can't get here fast enough.
But I think the problem is the odd man front and aggressive playcalling.
Doesn't work against certain teams.

Texas needs to be able to create a pass rush with 4 so they don't have to leave their corners on an island.

You said something about how their offense needs to improve.
I think every team's offense needs to improve week to week.

In terms of what came out of that game.

Texas might need a new DC
Their young corners need to step up
Their DL needs to make more of an impact

But that is to win on that level. Both teams are loaded with future NFL talent all over the ball.
Multiple NFL scouts gave high remarks to 15-20 players.
LSU finally opened up their offense. If they played that game how they usually play they would have been blown off field

Flyover Football...

Joe Burrow is good at it. The way he stepped up in the pocket on that last play was perfect
95% of FBS QBs would have went right, left or back and screwed themselves.
But he stepped up and delivered the pass.

Greg is a weirdo. Feel sorry for that guy. Needs some mental help. Maybe he can get that in Ireland or wherever he claims to be.

Oklahoma State
Texas
Oklahoma

Three teams who have a good chance to win the Big 12.
If Texas is not there yet and OU takes a step back Okie Lite has enough to beat both.

TCU has a small chance but they need some pieces.

In regards to everything Texas might have the best offense. Their OLine could be better than Oklahoma. Plus they are more dangerous in their passing game. Ehlinger is much more developed as a passer than Hurts. Hurts is more the complete athlete. He is like a QB who is a RB or what Roschon Johnson for Texas can develop to.

If he can develop both as a RB and passer the Texas' offense can be dangerous.
