What do you think DH would have....

done different to prepare for this year?

My take is:
  • He would have saved the last 2 schollies for added JCs/Transfers.
  • He would have brought in 2 S's, 2 OLs, a DL, QB & a WR.
  • The whole OL would get total focus on their position only. No sliding this year.
  • He would have gone hard after J. Jackson for his mobility and better deep ball accuracy.
Don't know if any of this would have happened, but he was a gambler and if he filled the holes we could have at least been able to complete some passes. NB is more about the future which is ok, but the present sure sucks. Thoughts please....

I’m not speculating on Dana. I’ll say, yesterday looked a whole lot like a Dana coached team.

Dana was lazy and it is shows with the players he recruited. Brown has a lot of work to do and will eventually get it going.

Offensive line is just plain awful right now. Get them straight and it would make a world of difference.

This is my feeling. That Offensive line needs immediate remedial attention, or else nothing else is going to work!

It's all we can do you're right, but we won't be fooling anybody with that attack. Teams will blitz the Hell out of us knowing we are zero threat on the ground.

Throw quick passes to take away the blitz. Run Danas gameplan basically.

It's probably going to come to that, but how hard will it be to defend if teams know it's coming? If I'm a D coordinator game planning against us, I go press coverage, load the box, and bring the house against AK.

It was what we did for the last 2 years. Teams struggled to defend it.

We had a decent running game too, keeping them off balance and that's what was so tough to defend.
