Who is surprised? We are laughing @ him and you Trumpers. The PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES of AMERICA altered a hurricane map with a sharpie in the Oval Office all because he can't admit being wrong (about the STUPIDEST thing ever). It is funnier than the Chappelle stand up. He's on Day 6 of covering his own fragile ego. Calling in Fox reporters. This is the gift that keeps on giving.

I sure am not anything close to an engineer but you have tweeked my curiosity. When concrete is placed in forms, whether those forms are inground or wall sections above ground and contain rebar or other strengthening materials, how else do you get the concrete in if it is not poured?

It is placed. You pour liquids. Concrete is obviously not a liquid. There are three phases of matter; solids, liquids and gases. Concrete is not a gas (obviously), concrete is not a liquid (since it is a combination cement, water, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and sometimes admixtures), it is a solid, even prior to setting or hardening.

Yeah, I know, this sounds picky but they teach you several things in good engineering schools. There is no such thing as dirt (it is soil), you don't pour concrete, and they are footings, not footers.

Apparently you guys are all surprised, as it seems like every stupid thing Trump does deserves shock (in some cases), outrage and endless pontification about it. Year one he may have been surprising... year two.... just another Friday.

And with that eloquent dissertation of bloviated BS, with me being just a non engineer, I can only come to the realization that you have a BS, Masters or Doctorate in Bullcrap.

Ignore country. He's the type that would get mocked on job sites for being a complete tool on the subject. He knows that when people use the terms "footers" and "pour", that they are using common words to simply describe the process. You can "place" concrete by pouring it, pumping it, shoveling it, etc.

And there are considered 4 phases of matter, not 3.

I am not so tender as to be intimidated by his "superior thought processes" and overbearing talk. I believe he has a inferior feeling about himself and is trying to deal with it. Maybe was "pulled to soon".
