I live here had that thing hit us it would have been 10 times worse than the Bahamas. These always get over hyped however when they make landfall the hype is real then. We got lucky it followed the projected path and didn't drift west closer to the coast like Matthew did a few years ago. No power or water for days is a bundle of joy and why I own an AR just in case and not for "hunting".

The storms are devastating. The reporting by the 24 hours news is ridiculous. The hole up in a hotel and set up for their 5 minute spots where they can make it seem as bad as possible. I was in FTL for a CAT 1 back in 1999 and it was a wimp of a storm but it was the craziest weather I have ever seen live.
