Texas, WVU and Oklahoma can recruit Florida with or without UCF.
UCF will take money out of my pocket so they bring nothing to the table. They only take. They would be a welfare school.

Winning doesn't mean **** because wins and losses come and go. Only a select few have a name no matter what. UCF isn't one.

Just quit with this nonsense. You have no idea what you are speaking on.

The reason the BIG 12 might expand with some schools is for the inventory and increased base footprint and revenue that would bring going into their next media contracts.

Side benefits = an easier path to playoffs as the toughest round robin schedule would be stopped. More teams would finish with more wins most years.

They don't need to increase their footprint because the state of Texas is growing and actually is producing a higher level of football players.
Texas and Oklahoma can still recruit out West, Louisiana and the Southeast.

10 schools is the best unless there are schools who would increase overall revenue. Those are only P5 schools.
That is where the PAC 12 and ACC come in. Both have financial problems and both most likely have failed networks.

We will see where everything is at in the next 5-7 years but adding G5 schools is on no one's mind unless of course a G5 school raises their level.

UCF hasn't and most likely will not because the window is tiny. That window is getting smaller by the day. This isn't like 1988. There is even a division inside the P5. The gap ia growing

UCF doesnt have to be superior they just need to be qualified in necessary areas and the BIg 12 has to want to add them.

Theres 0 chance of BIG 12 doing anything but adding schools from other conferences or remaining as is.

LOL at expansion boy. I remember you. Again you ignored the post by Allen that devastated your point haha. If it’s just about what you think GFY.

UCF has to create an impression that they are superior to the other Florida schools to join the Big 12.
Mainly because there is a chance at some of the Big 12 merging with the ACC
Why settle for UCF when Florida State is still on the table.

UCF is doing a decent job but their window is very small.
1) ACC network is a success
2) They continue to get better in every sport. They would be considered the #7 best program in Big 12
3) More importantly level the playing field in Florida

What would a merger look like one and when could that happen two. ACC is locked and loaded for 15-20 years. Also how many teams could be in that merger conference. I haven’t heard of this at all but something that out of the box would be cool as ****.

You have no idea what you are talking about.
Everything to do with conference realignment will be determined by the ACC network in the current. What happens if the network is a failure is anyone's guess.

I see no path for success. To me this Network will be an afterthought in less than 3 years. Of course ND is the trump card. The PAC12 is a disaster. The LHN is a bust for ESPN. The Big12 couldn’t get traction for a network. And future ala carte service will doom Big Ten Channel. I just don’t see the content being attractive.

The BIG 12 isn't being "killed", its been in the playoff like the Big Ten and Pac 12. But all three of these conferences are playing tougher schedules than acc and Sec squads every year with their 8 conference games and numerous fcs and lower level G5 home games OOC.

Texas and OU don't win the BIG 12 every year and usually don't beat everyone else in the conference either, its a very balanced conference top to bottom. Moreso than the other P5 conferences.

There are several teams like UCF, Houston, Cincinnati, USF and others capable of competing and winning games if they were BIG 12 members. The conference has little interest in expanding at the present time however. Maybe that will change as they work on their next media contracts .

Dude it’s Oklahoma and everyone else. Hopefully for Big12 Texas makes it all the way back. The Big Ten and SEC have multiple top 10 teams but the other 3 conferences are 0-2 trick ponies. You are a moron. You really are.

Even if the acc network is a success acc schools will be 4th in revenues and many millions behind the BIG 12 schools in media rights. Currently 10 million behind on average per school and that includes every possible thing anyone calls media rights.

If the acc net doesnt bridge the financial gap for them then in about 5 years the acc floodgates will open wide

LOL at the insecure jealous fanboy.
ACCept it!

Are they.
We have been though this before. The GoR was based around a conference network. Without a conference network there is no GoR.
What could happen is anyone's guess because you don't know how powerful all the players will be when everything happens.
I do know UNC and UVA wants to keep some semblance of power and they can determine the future of Clemson and Florida State.

The B1G and SEC both are screwed somewhat and only have scraps to pick up.
SEC more than the B1G.

Unless of course a school like UVA or even Texas joints the B1G.
I think a lot of the major pieces left want to maintain power and want to survive without the B1G or SEC.

Who those schools are anyone's guess.
I do think a lot of the major schools outside of the B1G and SEC will end up in the same conference.
Like I said the question will be if it is all of them.

Disagree.
Just as long as there is an auidence and more options TV money isn't going to decline unless of course the auidence declines or the competition decreases.

Only thing that may die is normal television providers. But I think these companies know that and the bigger ones will be able to adjust.

Many schools would increase overall revenue. The conference would be adding quality inventory with demonstrated ratings at the time of a new tier one two and three contract.

Its why expansion makes sense and P5 has nothing to do with it.

If you add schools that can add more than what they take.

Simple math
You have 10 schools and get 38 million that is 380 million.
Add 2 schools. These schools would have to provide 76 million when the Big 12's first and second tier rights come up.

Because the Big 12 doesn't have a conference network this is difficult.
No we don't want a conference network. It would be pretty much be the LHN for everyone but Texas wouldn't get their full share. None of you want to listen about Texas football and watch their historic games.

What are you even talking about.
Everyone hates Texas and if you don't like them right now. Just wait until they actually start winning, the media gets behind them and they start getting all the recruits.

Just life in the Big 12. Has nothing to do with Neal Brown right now.

The only schools that the Big12 would of added (before the GoR ACC) would of been Clemson and Florida State. No one out of the PAC 12 would of been added (that had value) due to farther travel. No one would leave the SEC or B1G due to the money they have in hand.

Enjoy the round robin schedule.

Go Mountaineers!!

So you're saying the officiating will be even more leaned toward Texas because their winning.

Interested in seeing Neal Brown and what he can do.
Dana should have taken out OU. West Virginia is going to have to get better. No doubt in my mind because Oklahoma isn't elite. In their minds they are but only Texas probably can get them better.

Neal Brown has a tougher conference to deal with. Teams like Baylor, TCU and Oklahoma State if they evaluate right can get better if the ceiling raises.
The question is what West Virginia and Iowa State can do. Both should be elite with the right coach.
There is some things to respect with both schools.

This Texas rivarly we will see. Need to get better in more than just football.

Its funny. Every other conference expanded. Every other conference added teams that made a lot less, and then they were increased to the same amount as everyone else-- who were then getting much more.

But then when the BIG 12 is going to do the same, suddenly its impossible?

Why would the BIG 12 doing EXACTLY the same thing be impossible? Its not.

Thats just what anti BIG 12 shills want some to believe, but its an absolute LIE.

Maybe in your mind that is correct but not to anyone else.

Cannot straighten out everyone's mind. There is no reason to continue arguing with you.
