Fighter jets flying around my house yesterday

At about 6:30 last night, at least two fighter jets kept circling in the area where we live. It appeared that they were flying around in a large circle for about 15 minutes. They were relatively low in flight. The sound of the jets was amazing.

Today my wife was told that two planes took off from the Doylestown, PA (we live about 8 miles away) airport and invaded Air Force 1's no fly zone and the jets were scrambled, but I have yet to see any news on this. He most likely would have flown close to us as we are due west of Morristown, NJ, where he was flying to yesterday afternoon.

Can anyone confirm?

There were TFRs up for VIP movements yesterday in that area.

You’ll likely not ever know if they actually violated the TFR. Seems probable based on what you said.

Thats cool. My brother is a retired AF Lt. Col (his wife also- Air Traffic Controller) pilot and flew for Continental after serving for 20 years. Clinton clipped his wings and forced him to the Pentagon to finish it out. He could not wait to get in the air again.

Could be, Trenton Airport was also near the flight restrictions. Washington camped in this area prior to attacking Trenton.
