Still waiting on you to address why and or how tariffs will help us. Or even why they were needed. I'm sorry you have a problem with our unprecedented economy and riches of the last 40 years that came from FTA and freer global trade.

And China was a small fraction of that success. Tariffs and trade restrictions have been in effect the entire time. In fact, China has still not opened their vast markets to the rest of the world. They keep talking about it, but they never open them up.

They don't need tariffs, they can just tell the purchasing agent of the gov. owned business to not buy anything form the US or any country that they don't want to buy from. The US cannot force private companies to exclude anyone except for Iran (might be a couple of others) right now. I guess trade sanctions against Iran and Russia is socialist also?

I am not sure tariffs will work, they may fail bigly, or have a dramatic positive effect on our manufacturing base. What is not acceptable is the status quo when dealing with China.

Up until last year, we subsidized shipping from China so that they could sell cheap knockoffs and put US clothing manufacturing out of business. How did a program that was started after WW2 continue up until last year? We actually paid the shipping so that they could sell us a cheap knockoff WVU football jersey!

If a world event were to take place again, the manufacturing base of the US would not be able to compete against our aggressors. Think WW2, only this time China is the US and the US is Germany. We have better weapons but not enough of them to compete against the Chinese.

I promote the globalist way, not the socialist way. Meanwhile you promote the protectionist/socialist way. :joy::joy::joy::joy: Just because some **** is made in China doesn't make them control the world economy. What a laughable sacred position that is. We still operate in a global currency of one (the US Dollar). We are a free society that replenishes itself with the help of immigrants. China is a walled off society with collapsing demographics (1 child policy) slaughtering minorities. Stop being scared.

You much to learn Grass Hopper... Oh, and we are not a free society, we cannot do whatever we want. Does that make us socialist?

Ok, what are they going to say, hay China, you can kick our *** any day now, come and take us? It might not be a fair assessment, but for the US military to disagree with it is not proof that it is not true.

Good god you people are afraid of your own shadow. Now Mattis and the Pentagon are IN on the plot. :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Good luck.

BTW - We still have manufacturing. The tariffs are actually hurting our manufacturing though.

Ok...whatever you say. We have went down this road before. You have never given one example of how free trade is possible with a communist country.

Germany has a strong skilled labor economy, and they are the envy of Europe. We used to have one also, not so much now.

SOME STUFF ? :joy::joy::joy:

How about a lot of stuff that is produced by slave labor. You're hilarious with your fake capitalism crap. Crony capitalism and Socialism both lead to a handful of people in control of everything while the peasants suffer. I bet you cried when Bill Kristol's lost all relevance.

In the dictionary.

globalism
noun
glob·al·ism | \ ˈglō-bə-ˌli-zəm \
Definition of globalism

: a national policy of treating the whole world as a proper sphere for political influence

They have numerous meetings all the time. Trump even attended one.

Trump to take populist 'America First' message to globalist Davos summit

Trying to discredit everything as a conspiracy theorist makes you sound like a propagandist.

It's very interesting how every single article posted here critical of Trump that you have a beef against the author but not once have I seen you attacking an author of a pro trump article?

all the far right folks on here are the same. It is alt-right all the time and everything else is fake. I always wondered how Hitler rose to power........

They never see racism. They aren't concerned that Trump's campaign was meeting with and sharing data with Russian operatives. Trump NEVER lies....I can go on and on.

No, we just no longer react to cries of racism where it clearly doesn’t exist as in the instance of this latest stuff about Baltimore. There was zero racial angle to it. You guys have gone to that well one too many times. At this point, I’m not even sure if you all recognize what actual racism looks like anymore.

No, we’re just willing to overlook the lies in lieu of the Democrats ever retaking power. What you all excuse and have excused in the sake of power is a direct reflection of the last 3 years. This is a mirror into your soul.

50% are feeble minded. Some long for inclusion into a demographic. Some are actually racist and scared of brown or non-Christian (even when they never attend organized church or practice religion. And then you have the evangelicals that due to this Jewish tie, they will support the party deemed most likely to protect Israel at that moment.

Gunny's an adult. Once you complete puberty things will become clearer for you. Until then keep getting that pizza delivered on time while juggling your second job of milking stud horses.

Does your tribe ever get tired of connecting everything to NAZI Germany? In today's current political climate, the BDS movement is the closest thing to a NAZI tactic. The NAZI's cultivated the muslims as they were radical just like them. It is almost as if the BDS movement was a leftover from WW2.

They know those dots were connected in several threads last week. Also connect to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran. They just don't care.

you are too narrow minded to see the obvious. The fact that Trump lies constantly and yet still calls mainstream media fake doesn't trouble you? Or do you think he doesn't lie?

Not at all, and it's not narrow minded, its reality. All politicians lie. 100% of them. I will say that what you call lies, most would call an exaggeration if it were to happen at a party. Lying is saying that you can keep your doctor...an exaggeration is saying that he has the strongest economy in the the history of the US. I am not sure he has that "you can keep your doctor" moment yet, but he has 5+ years to tell the whopper.

Don't like it, but it's not like he spied on them or anything right?

Did you forget about this? did it make you upset? Did you still support him?
