I don't know. The deepstate schtick is usually coming from folks arguing that DOJ, FBI, Intel agencies, etc, can't be trusted. TBF, I'm not sure if you have pushed a deepstate argument in the past. I just thought it would be fun to bring up since you are holding up many of the same agencies that others try to tear down.
I've covered this numerous times. Calling people conspiracy nuts for using the term deepstate is a way to discredit people who have legitimate complaints about unelected bureaucrats who think they are running things. Inspector General's in numerous federal agencies exist for the purpose to hold them accountable. I can post numerous I.G. reports of investigations if you like. I'm in favor of holding government employees accountable while simultaneously knowing good people work there.
