Weather is always a wild card that far north and the draw of when you play. Sometimes playing at home is harder, McIllroy, than one would think. I'm not sure Tiger will be as effective as last year.

I experienced the fickle weather when I played in the British Mid at Muirfield in 2005. I went late, early. I fought the weather the second day.I came out at the end of the second day, it was dead calm for three hours. I missed match play by two shots.

Didn't say it would be impossible :wink:. He's a hard one to figure out. So much talent but it seems like he's having the same issue tiger had early in his career with hitting his wedges close.

I was really happy for Gary Woodland. Really good guy.
