I don't think this will age well for you guys. Too many witnesses for her account to stand up. Regardless of what you think about the situation, she is actually lying about people who are just doing their jobs. I have already heard reports that she never even entered the facility, others say she spent 3 minutes but never went into where the illegals were being held, another threatened a guard, etc...

Have not watched fox news all day, saw a couple fo articles about it. But, you have to admit your sources are CNN and NPR, so there's that.
well, they are in a detention center, so yea, they most likely need help. The Dems built the buildings and never once until they were forced to sign a Republican bill did they ever try to address the issue.
Thank you putting together this politically orchestrated story so that we can see it for what it is. I do give them props for syncing this and the timing is perfect. By the time it is refuted, everyone will have lost interest over the weekend. Bravo!
Obviously, AOC is on the extreme side of the Dem party and I hate the part of the party that gets all the press is so far left. However, even the DHS IG even said "some" facilities are overcrowded and inadequate with poor conditions. DHS has been putting up many of these sites very quickly so to a degree its understandable. Let's curb illegal immigration (I think most on this right-leaning board agree with this tenet) but, at the same time, lets at least try to provide the basics and treat people as humans until they're deported. We're the best country in the world. Let's act like it.

Agree, pretty sure that it what the Republican crated bill that the President just signed is attempting to do. The Democratic bill that came out of the house only wanted to give money to the detention centers/increase paper pushers to allow them to get in faster. Why was that?
LOL.....what does that report have anything to do with the liar AOC.....Never mentions anyone drinking from a toilet. Trump asked for and got more money to address the overcrowding and other overtaxed issues .
You mean carrying on what every other president is supposed to do? These people are criminals. When you break our laws your are a criminal. Obama did the same thing and I'm sure you didn't care about it. We have to get control of this. Trump should threaten to put a 10% tax on all monies wired back to people south of the border. That would be another good incentive to get control of it by Mexico and the rest of those countries .
We have a Mexican store in our little downtown...the rest of the stores are expensive restaurants and shops that sell high end art and clothes. Since my kids have worked in hospitality in high school, i know the back of the house is 95% illegal aliens. The storefront is nothing but advertising for wire transfers and cell phone cards...It makes me wonder.
One of my employee's church had a gate that was struck this week by an undocumented drunk driver with no insurance. Destroyed the steel on the gate, thank god it wasn't a person they hit.
This notion that we should accept and tolerate people in this country illegally is unacceptable... but hey Dems.... votes.... am I right?
It's a mess. My wife worked as an Innkeeper at a local B&B. The owners are very active liberal township officials. They actually called one of their illegal aliens their step daughter (they paid her mother to get her into the US illegally, lived here during high school and worked at their Inn for room and board until she graduated.
My wife has a minor in Spanish and did not tell anyone she could understand the workers for the first year she worked there. They hated the owners! Cussed them out every day for the leaches they were. Something happened at the Inn and my wife had to speak to them (safety issue) they were shocked and scared that she was going to tell the owners everything they have said. She never told the owners and she became a trusted friend. They invited us to the girls wedding, the owners acted like parents but everyone at the wedding was abusing them for the entire 3 hours and they had no clue.
As soon as she got married, she moved out of the 2 bedroom apartment that 8 people lived in and moved in with her illegal alien husband who was a head chef at a local Italian eatery. Quit the Inn and two years later, she still has not talked to the owners. On top of that, my wife truly thinks that owner sexually assaulted her, as he was a true creeper.
The sad thing is you have business owners taking advantage of these people. You have Democrats promising them the sun and the moon. And you have no one working seriously on developing legislation to rectify the issue.

When you break a law, that makes you a criminal. Now, do I think they should be sent to a prison? Of course not. They should be sent home or back across the Mexican border, where they crossed initially, and told to wait in line to become a legal resident. Nothing wrong with protecting our country.
Potable water is found on the po-table and AOC didnt see any tables in the enclosure for the po-immigrants.....
