Any ideas for me to do in a couple weeks when I go to my Orlando home? I belong to a second country club but golfing in Orlando in June can be brutal.

I played Cypress Point, Pebble Beach and Monterey Peninsula CC about a month ago. Watching the Open was extra special because I just played the course. Can’t wait to get to London and Ireland in September.

Sincere question.......any of you guys rich enough to travel or just Myrtle Beach pubs?

I am headed to Scotland in September. Going to walk the West Highland Way and drink single malts. As for Orlando, stay in the AC and only go out at night.

Wuss. Take plenty of water and go ahead play. It's only 92 with chance of showers. Showers usually last about 30 minutes to an hour in Florida. Of course it can make it humid. Go out at 6 am. No need to worry then.

Golfing in Orlando is brutal in June unless you played every day in Feb and Mar. Play 3-4 times per week and your body tends to accept the heat of summer better. Would not recommend anyone going down Jun thru Aug and expect to step out of AC and walk 18. At that time of year, I would suggest you work on your drinking more than you do on your golf game. Start early with 7 AM cocktails and throw a cold case on the cart for the front 9. Hopefully, you have a 4some who took drinking more seriously than golf score. Don't screw up and raise too much hell that you will be invited NOT to return. Try to play them all. Nice courses we tried to play a good one per month.
