Charter Schools is best? Statistics tend to say otherwise.
Never said they were......but it depends on what statistics one looks at.....some studies say they have helped a lot of kids.
I suggest you look at the factual data about how WV schools rank. That dismal track record will stay in place as long as narrow minded people afraid of change like you......exist.

What was even more embarrassing was a live piece on the metro DC news last night. Hard to believe that anyone would dare to call those retards....."educators".

Nothing more than union activists fighting against progress to protect their clients from competition.

Were you this pissed off when miners were protesting Obama's "war on coal"? Since it directly affected their livelihoods?

No,not at all.....they were fighting for their jobs and the ability to provide for their families.. No jobs are going to be lost in the Republican Education Reform Bill......in fact,if you have been paying attention, hundreds of NEW jobs will be added and a hefty pay raise for all school teachers and school workers.

How does this directly affect teachers livliehoods other than giving them a raise and more potential opportunities.

Really? No jobs lost? So, when a charter school opens, pulling funding from the local schools, resulting in a RIF for many faculty members, that doesn't affect them? Delusional.

Easy, Dave. Money taken from the local public school for a new charter school. Results in less funding, which results in more RIF's, which results in a loss of jobs for some teachers.

Does a charter school employ teachers? Are their more or less students in schools?

So you are saying Teacher A, who was RIF'd, will receive the job at the new charter school? Not how the real world works, Dave.
I know. In the real world hires are made based on merit and bad employees are replaced with better ones.

The state of WV doesn't have "tenure" for teachers, Dave. Teacher CAN be replaced, as in most states.

Again, you are obsessed with not only being factually wrong but also being completely stupid.

That's right, and you also asked how it would "negatively affect" teachers. I told you.
So the negative effect on teachers is that bad teachers will lose their jobs to better teachers? That sounds like a terrible plan but thanks for getting behind that, LOL.

Only terrible teachers will lose jobs? Again, Dave, you don't understand the basics of anything. Let me speak the language you understand.....

If administrators are getting rid of good teachers in favor of bad teachers than perhaps we need to start looking at replacing them too. You were the one who brought up how things work in the real world but when you are confronted with real world realities all you have left are fat jokes and nuh uh's.

Just leave the thread before you say something even more stupid.
