I watched a bunch of documentaries of WWII, Nazi Germany and Hitler the weekend before last. They had video of "ordinary people" in Germany. The video showed their progression of falling in love with Hitler, the salutes, the allegiance and the worship of him like a god. It was pretty disgusting. It included men, women and children. I always wondered how so many people could be fooled by a con man with a sick and twisted plot and ideals, abandon their morals and ultimately fight for him to the death. It was sad watching how their own stupidity and ignorance allowed them to betray their very own morals, integrity and values.
Seeing these trump supporters is eerily similar.
