Female ‘Tommy Robinson supporter’ detained after ‘stabbing Trump baby blimp with scissors’

Police have arrested a woman after she allegedly deflated the Donald Trump baby blimp with a pair of scissors.

The woman, who has been named in reports as Tommy Robinson supporter Amy Beth Dallamura, livestreamed the attack on the 20ft balloon during the Trump protests in London.

She apparently claimed the attack on the controversial blimp - that was also used in Trump protests in 2018 - was a birthday present to herself.

As she stabbed the giant Trump inflatable, Dallamura shouted: “That’s a disgrace.”

Anti-Trump protestors were later pictured picking up the deflated blimp.

A Metropolitan police spokesperson said: “As of 5pm on Tuesday, 4 June, one female has been arrested for being in possession of a pointed/bladed article.”

I thought the drops started after midnight..........thus June 6th?
Did they? I just assumed they dropped prior. I’m not positive on the timing. The trackers and pathfinders were in place prior to the drops.

To the overall point, which you made and I agree with, DDay is pretty universally recognized on the 6th.

Pretty sure that 2016 preceded 2018.
Sure did......what's your point? My point is I don't get all giddy over points in election time.....as I said.....sometimes you win.....sometimes you lose. The only anomaly to that is the 84 year winning streak the Dem had in controlling the WV State Legislature....for which we are now paying the price.

I may be wrong, but I was always taught and read that the weather was prime starting at midnight on June 6th.....and the paratroopers were in flight at that time......maybe not. But my point is that celebration for D-Day is June 6th, not today......which negates WVU82's claim of "neglect".

Regardless, it's a two day celebration, idiot, and the ceremonies have already began. Thank Fox News for covering it, while Maddow, Lemon & Co. continue to talk collusion.

Since you asked yesterday, I usually only talk on subjects I find interesting and unless I'm disputing others that are getting facts wrong, I don't usually post on actions I agree with regardless of political party. But in this case and for you, I'm glad Trump is recognizing D day regardless if it is a day early. Don't care as the important part is the leader of our country is representing the moment.

The idiot posting the trolling message on Fox news versus the other networks, I will continue to ignore Trolls. Normally, I wouldn't touch this thread.

Happy?

President Trump was spending Wednesday and Thursday with other world leaders commemorating the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Nazi-occupied northern France by Allied forces. The risky maneuver launched on June 6, 1944 saw thousands of American, British and other allied forces cross the English channel to halt the advance of Adolph Hitler's war machine in Normandy, northern France. It would cost the Allies some 10,000 men, but it would become the turning point of World War II.

The president and first lady participated commemorative events in Portsmouth, England on Wednesday, the first of two days of ceremonies. Portsmouth, on the southern English coast, was one of the primary points of departure for the Allied forces as they struck out across the English Channel to invade Normandy.

Mr. Trump joined British Prime Minister Theresa May, Queen Elizabeth II and leaders from the other nations which took part in the Allied D-Day invasion for the events on Wednesday.

75 years later DDay wouldnt be necessary. Libs could dare Hitler to meet them at the BP and the call him scared when he laughed at them.

Comparing yourself to Hitler? How dumb do you have to be? You really didn't think that one through. Of course you don't think anything through. You really are a freaking moron. Thanks for proving it once again.

Speaking of Fox News, now they can magically read the minds of British protestors. "Those boos aren't for Ivanka."

LOL!
Not sure if you even read the article, but I'm thinking Brian K was right in his acessment. She exited the building with John Bolton, so I would suspect the boos were for him. That, or you had a protester field full of ******.
