The problems with the FBI under Hoover are well documented. He kept files on a lot of people that didnt deserve it. That's one reason why we dont let people run the FBI for life anymore.
He lied to Congress. He leaked classified information to the media and he sigbed off on a fisa warrant knowing he was using false evidence.
This is a report during the times Robert Mueller and James Comey were Directors of the FBI. The DOJ Inspector General confirmed it. You're still be spied on and having your data collected. This is not a secret.

To be honest, I don't expect anybody to go to jail. Why? Everybody in DC protects itself. Should they go to jail? Many should if they can go after Gen Flynn for total ******** entrapment.
James Comey had never worked as an FBI Agent. He never even attended the FBI National Academy. He only work as a Prosecutor for approximately 13 years before becoming FBI Director. He is a political hack who along with John Brennan should have never been nominated to lead the FBI and CIA. Those two must be investigated and held accountable in order to re-establish faith in those organizations.
You acting like the FBI has s guy listening to all of my phone calls an old going through my trash. Massive data collection is a much different. If you raise flags there, you are dealing with shady people.

i wouldn't expect the FBI to have an interest in you. They shouldn't have had an interest on Papadopolis, Page( who was an FBI informant) and numerous others. Hopefully, the crooked ones will all get purged soon

The FBI does not spy on me any longer. They stopped after two of their surveillance personnel died of boredom.
