Kinda surprised. Oh well. Good luck to the young man

[WVUALLEN]

Not a huge loss. We have the guns to go. Good luck to the young man.

Agreed but Vandy? I could see if it was UCLA but Vandy?

Not all players value the same thing.
Don't remember them playing together but his dad could have a good relationship with Jerry Stackhouse.
Plus a Vanderbilt BA or BS opens doors to a lot of post graduate degrees.

Has nothing to do with Jerry Stackhouse.

Vanderbilt associate head coach David Graves had been recruiting Martin when Graves was at UCLA and California and reached out to Martin as soon as Graves join the VU staff.

His decision to further his career with Pippen, Jr is the big reason why.

Pippen Jr., and Martin played with each other, .."he’s a player I’m familiar with, how he plays, so I think that will be better for me also.”

Martin is an undersized forward. But does play hard.

Plus, it’s debatable if the kid would start at WVU with Oscar and Culver. He probably will play right away at Vanderbilt.

If you are going to make a false narrative.
At least use logic.
Kenyon Martin Jr is a 3 or a 4.
Both Culver and Oscar are 5s. They both may see the floor together but only for small periods of time.
Why would a SF worry about who is starting at C?
