Only a poor would be bragging about it.

If you banged 10s all day it would be second nature.
Sounds like you are usually playing putt putt in your backyard.
Only person who brags about driving a Maserati is the guy who usually drives a Buick.

Is Texass your Boogie man.
Seen you call quite a few people Texass.

You are the type of guy I would drink a few beers with just to listen to your nonsense.

You go own Texass.
Don't have to be afraid of anything no more.

OK, I'll match your tour. Buddies and I are planning a week of 36/day all within 45 min of home.
Mon -- Lake Arthur / Oakview
Tue -- Conley's / Suncrest
Weds -- Lenape / Birdsfoot
Thrs -- Pittsburgh National / River Forrest
Fri -- Quicksilver / Shadow Lakes

All under $50/round
Some with Tee Time under $20
Hot dog & 2 beers at the turn
6 for the back nine.
Wanna bet I'll have much more fun than you spending $100's per round?

And ho,,,, I can afford to drive a S550 and Range Rover Evoque but choose to drive a Honda Pilot and traded my 13 year old Buick Ranier not too long ago.

Make no mistake the two of us have absolutely nothing in common. The cheapest round I played this past week was $450 plus $140 for our caddie. Cypress Point, The Preserve and Monterey Peninsula Country Club are extremely exclusive. You couldn’t smell those places much less pay and play there.

I don’t believe you could afford to pay $1,100 per month to own my $104,000 S550 since you brought it up. My guess is you couldn’t afford the $51,000 Range Rover either.

Hope you are enjoying your life Greg. Why do you feel the need to speak of your wealth just to denigrate the "poors"? There is no way you will ever meet or know who any of these anonymous ghostwriters are. I don't care if you can substantiate your claims or not. It sounds like you are leading a great life, your kids are well taken care of and you must have some intelligence to have a job capable of bringing in funds that allow you to live the life you have ( unless you are a trust fund recipient, lottery winner, gangster or gigolo to the stars).

I hope you enjoy your leisure time. Thank God for your life and enjoy it. Life is too short to get in such petty arguments.

Not a golfer, heck my handicap is probably higher than the national debt so I can't accurately rate your trip.

Come on Pluto lighten up. You don’t take this site seriously do you? I’m just messing around and the main problem is the site virus, Texass. There’s no cure for this guy. He decided he want to ruin this site and for some weird reason he’s tried for months. The funny thing is all the money talk started with @Cuyahoga Falls Eers spouting off about all of his experiences as a sportswriter(haha) and his bags of money. I get my balllz busted and bust ballz back. I wouldn’t want to offend you or anyone other than Texass. Going forward know that anything negative, outside of Big12 troll stuff, I post is pointed toward the site virus, Texass.

I really don't. I was cracking up reading your interactions and decided to go fishing for a response to gauge the intent. If I were a psychologist I would say your intent is to stir up conversation by drawing out the ire of some on here who have associated you with the status of a Pitt troll. I would rate your personality color as orange and your spirit animal as Hyena.

Serious question, have you met any big time golfers?

I’ve been very fortunate. I have belonged to the Pittsburgh Field Club for about 43 years since my dad went into practice at Shadyside Hospital. PFC use to host the Family House two event. Frank Fuhrer created the Fund raiser. It was very well attended and was great until he and Stacey Smith had a blowout. So for about 5-7 years in the 90s(if memory serves me well) we would host 10-12 of the top 25 golfer in the world. I met and had access to guys like Duval, Michelson, Leonard, Els, Stricker, Strange, Mediate, ect. Top players at that time. What was really special was one of the early years when one year amateurs played Senior Tour members. A lot of Walker Cup members play against Palmer, Nicklaus, two Snead, Litler, Fuzzy and several other big names. I belong to Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando. We have a lot of touring pros. A ton on the LPGA. Kristy Kim is as cool as they get.

I love WVU. Problem for some here is i love Pitt and Ohio St as well. I grew up with all three in my house. I mess with guys here for sure but it’s all good.

I'm from the Deltona area, lived in Port St. John for a while. I remember my dad telling me he used to manage a few properties where all the baseball players rented during spring training but that he had also met The Shark one time. I saw David Duval shopping once but that's the extent of my experiences with any noteworthy golfers. Football was always my favorite sport, along with basketball because I am a 90s kid and Michael Jordan was my favorite player. My knowledge of golf history is scant, I grew up a Tiger Woods fan but disliked Phil Mickelson for some reason. From what I know he is a very nice man, but I can only go off second hand accounts.

In regard to your fandom and message board activity, in my experience most fans you meet in person are great. The conclave of message board fans can be entertaining and inclusive, but also the anonymity allows people to say things they wouldn't in person. Ohio State and Pittsburgh aren't well received on here. Being border states, Ohio State fans can be extremely off putting online and they have one of the largest fanbases in the country. I live in Arizona and they are everywhere out here. Being a native Floridian I can tell you they are all over down there as well. My dad is a native Ohioan and Buckeye backer, so I have heard the OH -IO chant more times than I needed to in 5 lifetimes.. Having lived up there and Tennesse too , I can tell you how rabid that fan base is as well, but that's off topic.

Pitt is West Virginia's biggest rival, so being a fan of both is sure to rub both fanbases the wrong way. I realize you are just having fun, but some people take their fandom to religious levels. Not quite as bad as Mexican or European futbol match craziness but still pretty fanatical.

So Greggy...

You attending the Big 12 Men's golf Championships.
Guess WV gets to host the event this year at Greenbrier.
Few of the top amateur golfers are in the Big 12 this year.
