Can you or anyone help me find where it says they are entitled to them by law ? The IRS has them and has audited them yet no criminal referrals ? That's strange maybe Maxine Watters will set everyone straight !

They aren't. My understanding is that it takes a signature from the releasee in order for the IRS to release anything. By law, that legislative wrote up.

1. Presidents are not required by law to give us their taxes. If you read the Federal Statute you wont find it in a law anywhere.
2. First paragraph in link I provided explains process if Trumps taxes are criminal of what would happen. The Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation Division conducts criminal investigations regarding alleged violations of the Internal Revenue Code, the Bank Secrecy Act and various money laundering statutes. The findings of these investigations are referred to the Department of Justice for recommended prosecution.

3. Now Google Congressional Oversight Manual ... key words are Jurisdiction of authority. You will find the Congress has authority of oversight of the IRS but not Trumps Taxes that would be go back to 2.

I just showed you the statute. The tax returns can't be made public, but must be turned over to the Committee on Ways and Means.

Then understand that the only way your getting Trump on his Taxes is after he leaves office and that's even if there is anything illegal going on. On that note probably zero chance that while running for office the former administration made a call over to the IRS and asked "pls tell me you have something criminal to work with". Zero chance right ?
