Texas Tech 24 Michigan 16.

Michigan breaks their record of least amount of points scored in a half.

Looks like football score.

Michigan is not as athletic.
Great basketball team but not as athletic.

Michigan State is the best B1G team.
Like I have said Texas Tech and Michigan State are the two best teams Texas played all year.

michigan is finding the NCAA tournament rather difficult when you have to play a team higher than an 8 seed before you reach the Finals.

They don't have one single creative offensive player that can create a mismatch.

Wagner was important last year. They need a big that can stretch the court.

Culver is a potential 10 year NBA player.
Good to great.
Especially at 6-6

Sometimes you just don't play worth a ****, and that was the case for Michigan last night. Simply couldn't make a shot. I think they were 1 for 20 from the three point line. Offense runs through the point guard, and tech did a great job of keeping him going to his left, which kept the offense stale, at best.

Walks! Walks! Walks!

They are now allowing 3 and sometimes 4 steps to the basket.

I swear the big white kid from Purdue took FIVE steps one time and there was NO whistle. Unfreakingbelievable.

Michigan was far from a great team, due to being at best, average on the offensive side. Defense allowed this team to win 30 games. Whenever they played a top defensive team, they normally lost. Six of their seven losses came against teams that were in the top 11 (with Michigan) in defense.

Tennessee got CHEATED. The ball CLEARLY went off the Purdue players foot. Yet they gave the ball to Purdue which lead to the foul on the 3 point shot.

Should have been Tennessee’s ball. The Replay was CLEAR.

It clearly did not hit his foot and they got the call right. The angle from behind showed the ball missed his foot by 6 inches or so.

The angle I saw shows the ball caroming off his foot. The ball clearly changes direction after it hits his foot. No doubt about it.
The angle trailing the play provided the best view, and the ball was clearly not even close to touching Edwards.

Typical toeshoe being lost on the wrong board. Can't find his way back to the woodshed. It's a miracle he gets the pizza delivered on time.

From the sound of it...Beard loss that game on purpose to motivate his team.
Whatever is the case regarding that game Tech weren't motivated.

People around Texas are wondering how much of that team is Culver.
Culver is a local player that is going to be a possible NBA starter.
The two big years Tech have had Culver has been on the team.

Even with all that Chris Beard is an excellent coach at getting the most out of his team.
Even if it is losing in the Big 12 tournament on purpose.
The players at Tech outsmarted Michigan. The way that game was played was about what team had the most intelligent basketball players.
For him at Tech to do that to Michigan says a lot.

The Oklahoma game is the game that WV showed the most.
OU needed that game and WV beat them.

That is just completely stupid. WVU just got lucky that night is a more reasonable perspective, but saying they lost on purpose, you know you do not believe that. That is just piling it high without a shovel. Any team can get lucky, and you had a motivated WVU team trying to sneak into the NCAA that pulled out an unexpected upset. It isn’t like Texas tech has a long storied history of winning big in basketball and got bored. They should have had all the motivation in the world. Beard doesn’t have any B12 tournament trophies in his case. If they win the tournament, they are getting a better draw in the NCAAs.

That whole unmotivated Schlick would work if we were talking about Bama laying an egg in the SEC tile game in football because they have a blue million of them already. What the heck has TT ever won to cause them to have a lack of motivation.

Call losing to WVU this year a fluke all you want and I wont argue. But playing that “wanted to lose EXCUSE” is about the biggest load of horse crap ever posted on any message board in the history of ever.

Beard wanted to lose the game for motivation....... Good frickin grief.

Tech beat WV for the first time in Morgantown.
Won in Austin for the first time since 1996.

Went into the tournament red hot. Totally different team than earlier in the season because they could score.

You can call it whatever. Sounded like that team took that loss to motivate them through the NCAA Tournament.
Without the loss Tech would be on a 15 game winning streak feeling invincible.

What a fvcking idiot. Losing on purpose to sabotage a potential top 2 seed for motivation? GTFO of here. Using an embarrassing loss as a reminder to refocus and motivate. Yes. Intentionally? No. What a dumbass.

Yeah because Tech didn't want the Big 12 Tournament Title with a possible 1 seed since Gonzaga lost to St. Mary.

Pride get real.

They weren't getting the #1 seed.
Seeding is not really that important once you get to the Sweet 16.
Tech was going to play in Tulsa before the Big 12 tournament started. That was all they cared about.

The Oklahoma St game
The OU game
The CBI games are better barometers of where WV is at as a program right now.

Texas Tech was the best team Texas played all year with Michigan St a close second.
Better than Purdue and UNC.
A lot better than any team in the Big 12. Only team that was close was K State. But that injury to Dean Wade really hurt.
