Knapper hit a 3 pointer and helped ignite a big run tonight. He will get better. He’s a freshmen. Beetle is done so Knapper is the other guard now with McCabe and Haley. Knapper will be much improved for next year and so will Horton. McCabe and Haley are already developing as of late. They have stepped up and become more comfortable and confident. This is getting good. I’m all in on McCabe, Haley, Knapper, Horton for next year with Mathews, Oscar, Culver, Konate. Final 4 next year. Those 8 are going to be good. That incredible front line makes everybody better.

Harler hit some good baskets tonight and did better. He just needs to shoot 400 three pointers a day all offseason and become that shooter off bench next season in limited minutes we thought he could be. He has experience. He just needs to become that big 3 point shooter we hoped for. It could happen. He needs to focus on that. Either way he needs to play 5 minutes or less next year. He’s a good teammate and leader. Beetle is gone. He’s done. Harler may stick around 1 Final year. Huggs loves him.
WVUallen you are on a witch hunt against Knapper. He’s a freshmen who will only get better and will be an important guy going forward. Beetle is done, gone. Knapper is the top backup now. He will be fine. Guys get better in time. Next year he will be very good. He’s only a freshmen and this experience will help him for next year and beyond. We are going to be back strong next year in a big way.
Prove it to me. You spout off all the time saying he is the best of best. Yet he hasn't shown that at all. Others are improving he is not. You can't blame his injury. He only missed 2 games.
Beetle is gone. He quit team already. He’s done. Harler may come back. If he can hit 3 better in limited minutes next year he would actually be more serviceable in 3-5 minutes next year. He needs to work and focus on the 3 for next year. That’s his only hope to help us in very limited minutes. He’s a good teammate and great kid though. Huggs likes his attitude. He could be a valuable leader as a senior backup.
Knapper will be a better Beetle the next 3 years. Knapper has a lot of years left. Huggins chose McCabe, Haley, Knapper, Horton for next year. Beetle needed to move on. It was obvious that Huggs wanted McCabe and Knapper to get these minutes and it will pay off. Haley is now the big guard we hoped for. He’s stepping up. Beetle saw the writing and quit.
West should probably play off the bench next year or he could be leaving next year
Lamont West should only be a bench player next year and will be if he stays. I hope he transfers. Haley can play 2-3 spots and Mathews is our guy as well. West is a liability too often. If Huggins brings him back he needs to be utilized as a bench shooter only.

It wasn’t his fault his Logan team sucks and everybody double teams him. He does his part by lighting it up but team isn’t good around him. Fairmont Senior stars Bridges and Dobbs will put on a show down there anyways. It’s a shame the system and seedings work like that. 11-15 record losing teams like Lewis County and Grafton have no business being down there as 7-8 seeds. The best 8 should be there. Screwed up system. Needs changed.

McCabe has stepped up and realized he can play at this level. It’s all confidence and reps. He’s doing it. I’m all in on McCabe. He’s proven to me. I’m sitting there live at the Coliseum last night just impressed with how much better he’s getting now. Beetle hurt was a blessing in disguise. Knapper has gotten some valuable experience and reps too. It’s going to pay off. We got our point guards for years to come folks. McCabe and Knapper are going to be very good here. They are only freshmen. Haley has also pushed Beetle out too. Horton is getting better too. Beetle is out of control and needed gone. Huggins chose those 4 McCabe, Knapper, Haley, Horton to move forward with. Harler probably returns as well in a backup role. I think he improves his 3 point shooting in offseason. That’s the key with him.

Culver and McCabe are the Pillars. This frees up everyone else to play with reckless abandon. Haley and Matthews seem to thrive this way. Even West and Harler thrived because it takes the pressure off of them. All though West needs to stop launching the ill-timed bricks.

Pratt that’s been the plan. Prep then WVU as a older impact freshmen. Bridges really has progressed where he doesn’t need prep school. He’s gotten stronger, better. Legit 6-7 and can shoot, score inside and out.

WVUFANFOREVER but you have to realize that the guy your talking to isn’t right about everything. Does this guy hit it on money on every prospect with his analysis? No he doesn’t. Early is a big time player that will score in Big 12. He’s only a junior anyway now. He will lose some weight and work out this offseason to prepare. He is a small town kid that has never lifted weights yet. Give the kid a break. He’s a serious talent. He will own the AAU this offseason coming up. Bigger offers coming. He will start at WVU down the road. Championships are won in half court. Press Virginia style doesn’t get you to Final 4s.

Newsflash, even middle schools have lifting programs now. That kid has lifted weights, I 100% guarantee it. If he’s out of shape, it’s that he doesn’t care enough to try. That’s something we’ve seen cost other prospects their shot in Morgantown. He better get his act together soon.
