Is that the quote? Really? I personally think Israel’s actions should be scrutinized to the same level as any other foreign nation. That said, they are our allies and I want that relationship to continue. But I see nothing wrong with our lawmakers questioning their actions and even making threats to discontinue our allegiance if warranted.
