Texas and Oklahoma continues to play in the Big XII Championship game.
By 2024 Texas and OU are Top 5 every year in rankings and recruiting.
Big 12 stays and maybe expands.
So...
WV winning 10 games a year might ultimately hurt them in the long run.

Did you enjoy being a student @ Texas University? I was a little underwhelmed with the campus...but that isnt to say I disliked it.
Not everything is for everyone.
But if you are an elite student and your family doesn't have the money for the Ivy League or Stanford the UT Honors College is the way to go for a Texas High School student because they have a different program for each college.
WVU has an Honor College, I elected to not participate. The Honor College dorm was Stalnaker...their cafeteria was a better, supposedly. But the chicks were beat looking, Boreman South is the only way 2 go.
Its on prospect st which is sorority row...jokes on the honor college dorks.
If they don't move the Texas/West Virginia game back to November.
There is a good chance that WV could play Texas in Austin during Austin City Limits week in 2020. Like with any music festival there are girls galore. Probably 50x that of a normal weekend.

Getting this thread back on track...... Neal Brown's staff is flooding the south and has been throwing out offers daily. GA is a target of many coaches. FL, NC come next. Not a whole lot of activity yet in states touching WV. At least not as much as in the south.
Another site has multiple daily posts about new offers. This staff is out there doing their job. Seems like much more activity than we've seen from any of Holgs or RR's staff.

But perhaps you are brain damaged. Perhaps you truly cannot understand even the simplest of things. So, I'll give you a primer of how this shill works.
Take notes, there will be a test on this...
If one is going to "rate" things to see how they compare one can do it through norm referencing or criterion referencing.
Norm referencing results come out like a big bell curve. Some high, some low, most in the middle as you compare each to each other. This doesn't work well for "star" rankings but this is really what they do.
Instead, they pretend to criterion test or rate them on a particular set of criteria that must be observed. In this case, a set of recruiting "experts" sit down and (supposedly) watch hours of, get this, "highlight tapes" and then rate each person on a set of criterion such as size, speed, etc. They will also pretend to use other factors.
Now, you want to know how its all BS?
1. They are fake. They simply look at who has allegedly recruited them and give them stars based on that. Don't believe it? Simply look at what athletes Bama, Clemson, Georgia have allegedly recruited - automatic 4 stars if it can be confirmed, 5 if all three recruit. A 3 star automatically if one of them, as you saw with the fake account. All that is left now if the number to assign. Say 92 if Bama, Tennessee, and say a WVU all have recruited, and 85 or so if just a Tennessee and WVU, etc.
2. If it is criterion referenced, like they say, then there can't be a discrepancy in scoring. You get an 85 or a 93 or a 100 based on meeting the criteria set upon beforehand. You can't have a player a Rivals 82, 247 88, ESPN 84, etc. That "composite" 247 score is the biggest BS indicator.
3. Its all designed to get you to part with your money. That's why Texas always gets these 4 and 5 star recruits; Texans are stupid with their money and always have hopes that this year is the year they get back to what they never ever really were - a serious, repetitive contender for National Championships. Keep selling them the crack, they'll keep buying.
Everyone is out to get your money.

It is about the players. People spend money not to see the rankings. The rankings are provided for free.
People pay information to find out who their university is recruiting.
But like with anything. You have to understand what you read. You sound like a pretty intelligent person so you know this. Anything you read....you must figure out the writer's POV and why they are you telling you what they are telling you.
If I read an article on a Texas site, an OU site and an aggy site I usually get a good understanding. A lot of Texas fans have been around this recruiting scene....so they seen everything
