Not a waste of time. That is the GOP parroting statement though.

I watched most of the 6 hours. I will say he was very prepared but what a disgrace he was put in this position. And what a disgrace this administration continues to be.

Glorious waste of time. Just what do people think the Dems hoped to gain out of it? Some damning confession that Trump is seeking to use the AG to undermine the SC? Or a perjury trap....

He has been the top law enforcement officer of the country put in place in a very odd manner that is very suspect. If there was a THE on the left on this board, my god the conspiracies we would see. But besides that, the Judiciary Committee has oversight over the DOJ. There is a lot of crap going on with this department of government. Those two points are indisputable. They are doing the job of the people that I for one appreciates.

Now, the actual hearing and how Whitaker acted turned out to be mostly a waste of time as he was arrogant and ignored to answer most questions. But that isn't smart on his behalf. He has now opened himself open to problems as Nadler is going to demand answers and he has the power. And if he lied, he is in deep doo-doo.

You really think his behavior is any different than pretty much anyone called to the Hill in the last 10 years? Cmon man, Holder was held in contempt.
