You can turn anything into a positive.
There is only one program that KU worries about and that is Kentucky.
UNC and Duke have instate talent. Kentucky and Kansas have to recruit nationally.
Plus Kansas still accuses Kentucky of turning them and Larry Brown in and Kentucky blames Kansas for turning them and Eddie Sutton in.
Duke only has 1 player from NC on their roster from what I see.
Both states have more talent than you think. Kentucky and Kansas just chooses to recruit all over.
We played Kansas AAU teams in high school growing up and those boys were smoking NYC, LA boys. Kansas recruits all over. There in state talent gets overlooked and spread around.
Kentucky has good high school football and basketball. It’s underatted. They too need to do a better job recruiting their own kids.
Because UNC locks all of them up.
Duke is a lot of out of state.
I think you can throw Duke in there as well but not to the level of Kansas or Kentucky.
Funny thing is the last great Kansas player went to Kentucky.

Their last Final 4 team had 4 of 5 starters from VA and the Carolinas.
IMG Academy is not Florida kids.
You misspelled Self throw bags of money at recruits.I get it now. Self throws a game against Huggy to keep Huggy around another year or two so Self doesnt have to worry about recruiting against the young energetic coach WVU will hire we Huggy "leaves."
Smart move by Self.
