E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!! Birds - Titans game thread

[Tom McAndrew]

Please use this thread for pre-game, in-game, and post-game discussion of the Eagles - Titans game. As a heads up, I'll miss most of the game, so you guys will have to carry on the discussion and coverage.

Go Birds!!!

So pumped, happy they are home.

[LionJim]

Is Davis back? Tennessee is very run-heavy.

[laKavosiey-st lion]

Who be Davis? I only know of henry

Davis, the rookie DT for the Eagles, he’s been out for a month or so. I just checked, he’s been activated.

If I was a betting guy I would be taking the Titans and the points. Philly run D concerns me...

Philly should be able to score enough points in this one if they avoid dumb turnovers.

Tennessee’s formula is to grind. We’ll see if they can score enough.

[WestSideLion]

Nice TD on the opening drive! They overcame some sloppy penalties along the way too.

[s1uggo72]

So far so good. Get another score. Each time u do takes Henry more and more out of the game

Sure sounded that way. I’ll get to listen to the 1st quarter, which is better than I anticipated

[WestSideLion]

Man. The Eagles with a bad offsides when they’d stopped the Titans on 3rd down. A couple Tannehill scrambles later and it’s a tie ballgame.

Yup that kind of $&@t gets your a$$ beat

That last Titans drive is the blueprint for when I say this Eagles defense is pretty vulnerable. They’re stacking the line against Henry. That’s understandable. But they leave the middle wide open in the passing game.

Hope # 22 for the eagles gets a fine of for that defenseless hit to the head!

Epps will be fined there.

So Manny Diaz is the Iggles’ defensive coordinator today?

He wasn’t defenseless, just dot have your QB hang you out to dry!! He raised his arms. He didn’t have to

I m more worried about all the BS penalties they are having!!! For crying out loud!! Holding off sides illegal shift etc etc

[Tom McAndrew]

6 penalties against the Birds in the first quarter. Sounds sloppy.

[s1uggo72]

Wtf. Why challenge a 4 yd gain. SMH

No sound about it, it is

It feels like they didn’t come prepped to play today. Let’s hope they settle down and cut out the sloppy mistakes.

[Relayer]

What a dumb challenge from Vrabel. Not worth 4 yards, and the Eagles got the first down on the next play.

[Tom McAndrew]

A.J. Brown for the TD

[s1uggo72]

Now that’s the kind of play u challenge

[WestSideLion]

A.J. Brown for the TD

Coming back. Crap.

[WestSideLion]

This game feels like one they may drop. They can’t catch a break and are just making all the dumb mistakes.

[s1uggo72]

TD eagles!!!

[Tom McAndrew]

Just a short delay for AJ to get the TD

[WestSideLion]

AJ comes right back for the TD. Wow.

I see it the other way. Clean up a couple of the bs penalties they kick their a$$$

[WestSideLion]

True. Seven penalties so far. That’s hard to fathom. If they clean it up then they’re in good shape.

[s1uggo72]

Landon going to get re shot up

[WestSideLion]

8 first half penalties. 8.

[s1uggo72]

WTF?? Jason?? That’s what you’ve been coached to do???

[Bkmtnittany1]

Now 8...and it is a bs one at that!

[WestSideLion]

Make good for that soft personal foul call against Hurts.

[s1uggo72]

Well they all got at least 1 now!!

[WestSideLion]

9 first half penalties. 9.

[WestSideLion]

They’re just incredibly sloppy today. Took themselves right out of FG range there.
