I only know what I have read about him over the last week, but it seems like a compotent hire. I can see him doing well.

My only concern is that he leaves to HC Kentucky when Stoops moves on, which I believe will be soon.

I personally like the Air Raid offense so no complaints from me on that, although I could see a qiality spread option working well in the B12.

If it is in fact a 6 yr deal, I think the contract should be structured to prevent that move.

In this day and age you can't worry about guys moving because that's what they do. With the money being tossed around it's only a minor obstacle in most cases. I would rather not be tied to this guy like we were Dana. All signs point to it being a good hire but until they play the games no one knows.

I bet both sides are covering their rear. If he does well and wants to leave before the contract is up he'll have to pay WVU. OTOH if he does poorly and WVU wants him to leave before the contract is up WVU will have to pay him.
