I Could extend that to include those who see government as a keeper instead of a protector.
I would extend it to include those who don’t see DC for what it is, ....... a corrupt, inefficient, ********.

It was literally the cornerstone of his campaign. We are currently talking about it because millions upon millions of idiots voted for him because they wanted it and thought that Mexico was actually going to pay for it. How can anybody be surprised by this?

I know it’s cool for conservatives in 2018 to either say that they didn’t vote for trump or that they hate ‘X’ about trump but like ‘Y’ as a justification for their support. But the fact remains, this is your party right now...a party full of idiots and idiot enablers.

They voted for him because he spoke to them... not at them. He went into states like Pennsylvania and Michigan and told them the things they wanted, needed, to hear, while his opponent lectured about what exactly?

Presidential elections stopped being about resume and started being about personality about 40+ years ago. The past 2 Presidents were elected not because of their political resumes, but because of how they communicated with the voters and how their personality translated into those votes.

If the Dems don't run their own personality, don't run their own celebrity (akin to an Obama and NOT a Clinton), then they run the strong likelyhood of losing again. And don't think the party's best hope is in Bernie, or Biden, or Hillary, or Beto, or Waren....

Did he or did he not campaign on building the wall and Mexico paying for it? Because that was the statement. But thanks for the dissertation on presidential elections in the modern era.

It's funny, we were all to save 2k a family with Obamacare, too. What did this group say when rates went the other way?

What is this based on? If every person possible participated? did that happen? Repubs and others fought the ACA from its inception. btw my health care costs went up zero due to the ACA.

The target of my post was you, not the politicians. You and your brazenly hypocritical conduct.

The answer his question, Trump is precisely Obama from the populist message stand point.

There is no logical reason from a resume standpoint that Obama should have beaten McCain. It was his populist message to the "rubes" that won him the election.

There was no stipulation, he was going to save us money. Where is the libs outrage?
Since the plan was never fully implemented, why should there be any? This is a border wall thread btw. whataboutwhataboutwhatabout

Premium rate increases slowed, perhaps it did save people money?

PS - I'll add it was a ******** claim, but I don't think it can easily be tossed away.

Great. I hope they get what they want. But I hope the “wall” never gets built
It is comical that libs fall for this foolishness. You know all your guys wanted the wall just a few years ago but sure...cnn says.

No, that was already used to get an incompetent man with dark skin. Some even championed him as something he was not. The hell of it is, they were even to exxtend the folly by reelecting him. Hard for explanation.
Barry Soreto agrees..:flushed::scream:

As border wall goes up in Texas, some local landowners put up a fight, others welcome it

That doesn't answer my question. I'm having trouble understanding why some are so opposed to a physical barrier to our weak southern border.

It has been explained so many times. Problem is not with the explanation; it is people like you actually accepting the explanation.

Large majority of Americans are not opposed to a constructed physical border in places where it makes sense. It is as simple as that.
